Hello, beautiful people! Welcome to my blog. It's a pleasure to have you in this space. Once again, welcome 🤗
Do you think people are innately good or bad?
This is a tricky question that has been asked by many people, and I am not sure if they have gotten the answer they so desire or not. Personally, I don't think anyone is innately born good or bad. I feel what we become or how we behave is shaped by different factors like
Our upbringing: The kind of family environment we grew up in, the parenting styles we saw, and our early childhood experiences will deeply affect how we behave in the later future significantly.

Personal experiences: Life has a way of shaping us into who we turned out to be, be it positively or negatively (e.g., trauma, significant relationships, achievements, failures). Someone that has experienced different heartbreak and disappointment from almost everyone they came in contact with will definitely start seeing everyone they get to meet in the future as liars and heartbreakers.
Environment: The environment we live in also affects how people behave, sometimes. If you grew up in a quiet, calm, and peaceful environment, it would be kind of difficult for you to behave like someone that grew up in a barracks. The environment has played a significant role in what we later become.
A person's behavior is not limited to the above-mentioned factors; there are a lot of them out there.
Do people change after years of being good or bad?
Yes, I believe everyone can change if they really want to, even after years of consistently behaving either in a good or bad way.
What do you think would trigger that change?
A lot of factors could trigger why people would change their behavior, like a near-death experience, becoming a parent, or moving to a new environment.

I don’t believe people are inherently good or bad, but I do think education is essential to restrain something that I do consider innate—specifically, guiding the development of our personality from the perspective of the ego, which can be shaped through education, as it instills values both formally and informally. I don’t know if you’ve read William Golding’s novel "Lord of the Flies", but I believe it sheds a lot of light on this subject. Thank you for inviting us to such an interesting reflection.
I totally agree with you, Education can shaping the way we behave sometimes. I haven't read the novel yet, I guess it would really be an interesting one. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us 🙏
It was a pleasure sharing my thoughts on the topic. I highly recommend the novel—I suspect it will be one of those readings that are remembered forever. Warm regards!

We are constantly learning and changing as we progress through life. A bad person can change to become good while the opposite can be said to be true as well.
We just need to develop good core values, avoid certain stressors and triggers and we'll be good.
Perfectly said sis 👍
Thank you 😁
