Gratitude - What are you grateful for of your 2025? What 5 great moments from your 2025 will you keep in your heart?
Often times we're so clouded with worry, anxiety and cares of life that we overlook the most important free gift we enjoy that money can not buy - the gift of life. It's indeed a rare privilege to be alive and in good health, despite so many challenges faced this year both individually and family wise.
It's imperative to see life and its troubles from the place of gratitude, knowing fully well that they're the part of living, hence, the most reason why I'm so grateful for the joys, peace, happiness and of course the sorrow and pain I've faced this 2025.They remind me of the fact that I'm strong and capable of withstanding anything that comes my way.

However, the 5 great moments this year that I'll keep in my heart are;
On the 5th of December, I traveled to see my mum, I saw her last, over 2 years ago(though we do video call sometimes). Meeting her with a hug, not knowing it was going to be the last hug ever, from her. Three days later, she passed, as if she was waiting for my arrival. The thought of her passing hurts me greatly but what I'll keep in my heart is the hug and being able to see her beautiful face once more before her demise because I don't know how I would have felt if I never saw her and heard of her death.
Another event of 2025 that I'll keep in my heart is the grace of being saved from a road accident on 18th of July, while returning from my children's graduation ceremony. The incident would have claimed my life but God turned it around for me. The thought of that undeserved grace usually leaves me with teardrops and goosebumps.
The 3rd moment was the decision of changing school for our first child when we observed the backdrop in her performance due to incompetence and unprofessionalism of the staff and school management. Seeing how greatly she has improved in her performance in her new school gives me great joy and gratitude for taking the decision, considering the relationship between us and the school owner. It was a difficult decision but I'm most grateful we did.
Getting dedicated and diligent staff to work in our establishment for the past 3 years seemed like a thug of war, as most of them will appear so in the first few months only to be something different afterwards. Most people want the money without putting corresponding efforts. But since after the first quarter of 2025, it has been a different ball game. Having employees who work even beyond our expectations thereby adding a spark to our establishment is a thing of joy and gratitude to our Maker.
Then, lastly but not in any case the least is the protection and divine guidance upon my family both immediate and extended. We've recorded mountain of wins this year, individually and collectively, irrespective of our mum's demise in the 8th of December. The most recent being my nephew graduating from the University on a 5 year course which lasted for 7 years due to prolonged strike by the academic staff union.
Life 's full of ups and downs and that is what makes it habitable because I can't even imagine life with all troubles or without troubles. There won't be room for growth and gratitude. Unpleasant times gives us hope of a better day, while pleasant times help us appreciate the difficult days the more. All these add spice to life. 2025 served me all these which I'll keep in my heart, and I'm super grateful for them all.
Thanks greatly for reading to the end, you're most appreciated. 🤗🙌🙏❤️

Life has its own way of redirecting our plans. But the most important thing is being open to changes and improvement around us.
It's a pity your mum left after that visit. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
Please be comforted.
We are all pencils ✏️ in the hands of the creator , he continues to mould us until the very last day.
I am happy that your life was spared in that accident.
It is so wonderful to hear about the improving in your establishment as well.
Though there were some set backs and challenges but 2025 was a memorable one for you.
