Which means it is also game wee8 7 in the fantasy premier league world...
Last week was an International break..
So did any of my players come back with injuries?
The only player was Saka of Arsenal but reading between the lines from the prematch press conference of Arteta he will be in the starting line up against Bournemouth!
However the manager picked up Covid!
Yep yours truly who was all excited as he was getting a whole week working from home, ended up being at home as Mrs T brought it back from work where they all went down like skittles with covid!
So I am ensconced on the sofa in a duvet trying to do things after a few days doing SFA!
Note ... I am social distancing well away from the players!
So I follow the FPL Lazy gang and their guru the FPL Professor has been telling us two things....
1 No international injuries, but lots of players should be fit and returning from injury.
Do you know the team?
Answer ... Wolverhampton Wanderers?
Who does he play against this weekend?
Answer ... yes you got it, Wolves...
In other words, keep Haaland as captain!
This is our state of play ....
So first things first, we only have 1 free transfer. If I wanted to make two transfers then it would cost me 4 points.
As I play head to head matches those 4 points are crucial!
I do have £0.2 million in the bank.
Let's have a look at the fixtures.
With Man City away to Wolves you would expect the big Viking to start scoring again, especially as they fired their set pieces coach!
But football would not be football without twists and turns!
Liverpool hosting Chelsea in the first real test for Liverpool this season and probably the first real test for Chelsea. People expect Palmer to blank but you never know.
As you can see the only injury doubt I have is Saka and Arsenal are playing at Bouremouth, so I will let my midfield ride. Keeping on the Arsenal theme, my fifth midfielder and on the bench is Emile Smith-Rowe the ex Arsenal player. Fulham host Aston Villa but I am not sure he will play, he seems to be a part time player and perhaps one I need to think about shipping out.
I know the tide is turning and Arsenal will have a tough run of games, so need to think about that!
On balance I will not be making any changes. People seem to be thinking Lewis of Man City is a luxury...
We shall keep him in...
Yes no changes as I mentioned ....
In theory we had a good week overall on Game Week 7....
As you can we did end up with 57 points which was 9 points ahead of the average!
So yay me!
Our players points were ....
Last week Everton midfielder McNeil saved our arse this week it was the turn of Saka!
Mbuemo had another scoring week, let's hope he continues that run.
Of our substitutes, new recruit Faes got 6 points! I was tempted to promote him as points on the bench don't count as a rule!
My Game Week 7 Head to Head Match
First of all I am going to leave the screenshot of my game week 6 result ....
Yes it was a draw.... now for GW7...
☑️ A draw! Yes for the second week in a row I drew my head to head!
As a comparison here is GW 6
Two wins and two draws from 7 matches and 8 points as you can see I slipped down the rankings from 41st to 44th in Hive division 2 head to head.
Now I think it is the top 5 that get promoted, so I am fluffing miles off the pace....
But it is a marathon not a sprint!
I am playing in two Hive leagues
The Classic League and then Hive Division 2 Head to Head .
The Hive fpl as you can see by the green arrow last week of 52nd to 43rd!
Game week 6 for comparison
The Hive Division 2 Head to Head , yep red arrow is a downward position and we are back down to 44th place!
Yes it is early but I want to see more green!
Game week 6 for comparison
I am also playing in the Across (ACX) leagues which does feature some Hivians and these are my postions there ...
ACX league
Game week 6 for comparison
A smaller league but I am going up and there is green!
ACX Head to Head
Game week 6 for comparison
Yep am going up there as well!!!
In the classic leagues you will see a plethora of green rises!
The only red being the league I am in with the FPL Lazy guys, but as they all study this for hours then I am not surprised!
Have you entered a team into fantasy premier league?
If so drop a comment and let us know!

Oh gosh, Super Ed!!! I hope the Covid didn't hit you too hard and that you recover soon. Please take good care of yourself, querido. Big hugs!💙
I seemed to be okayish and I thought I was on the mend but then bam last night it said oh no take this! Thank you querida Super Eli 💙
Don't make it up and rest well, querido. Relapses with Covid are hard, so it's best that you stay home and rest until you feel well recovered. Be good and take care 😽
