Ignorance is a curse

Talking about controversial and funny things that happened in the month of February this year, the first suggestion of this topic caught my attention because I saw it, and I could not just stop wondering. This is what I want to talk about in this post.

I saw the trend, and it was laughable, controversial, and also a mocking thing to digest. When did God start using WhatsApp? I cannot just imagine that.

The rate at which clergymen are making the Christian religion look mocking is alarming. People are doing absolutely anything just to attract the masses and also fill their pockets with money. Imagine the boldness of this clergyman to publicly post a screenshot of a WhatsApp chat and label it as a conversation he had with God. And the worst part is that he has followers, and these followers are not ready to see that their clergyman has gone astray. They have been blinded by whatever they think they are gaining from the prophet, and any other thing he does, whether good or bad, does not bother them. You cannot see me having such prophets or pastors as my pastor or the head of the church I attend. No way. I am not blind or deaf.

Come to think of it, how are people at this stage so ignorant? I am very certain that the prophet has been using such tactics to manipulate his followers into submitting all they have. Imagine a situation where, during a Sunday service, he brings out his phone and shows the congregation his chat with God, where God in the chat requested that every member of the church should buy him a jet, with each family contributing. You will see how every one of them will start emptying their bank accounts to provide money for that private jet. Ignorance is a curse.
