Middle-class diary: Market stories and chicken buying experiences.

Yesterday evening, I went to the local market to buy chicken for my family. As soon as I stepped into the market, I saw the familiar hustle and bustle. The whole market was filled with the chirping of the chickens in the cages and the shouting of the vendors. After looking inside the cage, I chose two chickens, seeing them quite healthy.

However, there is nothing new to say about the current market situation. The way the prices of every daily essential have skyrocketed recently, the common man is gasping for breath. To be honest, in this rising price market, living expenses are now completely out of reach for the middle-class people. I have to struggle to balance my accounts all the time, yet this is all I have to do to put a smile on my family's face.

After choosing the two chickens, I gave them to the shopkeeper for processing. The process of cutting chickens in the current modern market is quite easy. The shopkeeper slaughtered the chickens very skillfully and cleaned them thoroughly with the help of a drum machine. Everything from plucking the feathers to cutting them into pieces was done very neatly before my eyes. By the time I finished my work at the market with the meat bag in my hand, it was quite late. I slowly walked home with the bag full of meat.

When I returned home after breaking the calm atmosphere of the night, there was a strange joy in the eyes and faces of everyone in the family. In fact, everyone in my family loves to eat chicken. Be it the minced meat with salt or the thin broth with hot rice, if any chicken dish is on the table, their joy of eating doubles. Even on this day of high prices in the market, when I see the satisfied smiles of the family members at the end of the day, all the fatigue disappears in an instant. At the end of the day, these small pleasures provide us with the resources to survive.
