Card Reader Troubleshooting and Servicing Experience.

A few days ago, I had to face a lot of embarrassment while working on a bank ATM or CRM machine. Suddenly, a problem arose in the card reader part of the machine. When customers came to make a transaction and inserted their cards, it did not go inside, and some people's cards were getting stuck, disrupting the service. As a result, customers could not withdraw money and there was a kind of dissatisfaction with the customer service.

After understanding the situation, I first carefully turned off the machine completely to solve it quickly. Then I opened the main card reader unit and started observing it closely. After checking, I found that the problem was more mechanical than electronic. The rubber and gear of the pin rollers that are used to pull the card in and keep it in a specific position were completely worn out.

Since the internal mechanical mechanism of the card reader is very sensitive, the entire card reader had to be disassembled step by step very carefully. Then the old and damaged pin rollers were removed and new and correctly sized rollers were replaced there. All the parts were cleaned thoroughly and reassembled properly and the machine was powered on.

After setting everything up properly, a test transaction was conducted and it was found that the card was inserted very smoothly and the card was read correctly. Alhamdulillah, after the successful completion of the servicing, customers were able to transact and withdraw money normally again without any hindrance. I was very satisfied professionally to be able to solve a complex problem immediately through technical expertise.
