In today's world, everyboody wants to look successfull......
We open Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and all we see is peopple showingg cars, houses, vaccations, expenssivee clothes, and bussiness achievemments. It looks like everyonee is makingg it except us. So we start to feel like we are fallingg behiind.
Becauuse of this, the preessure to look successfull becommes greaater than the desiree to actually builld a meaningfull life. This is very danggerous.
When we are under this pressurre, we start to do thingss that harm us. We spend mooney we don't have just to impress peopple we barelly know. We borrow clothees, we rent cars for photos, we buy phones on credit, we hide our reaal struggles because we are afraid peopple will laugh at us and call us unsuccessfull. We are livingg a lie just to get likes and comments online....
But what is real success? Real success does not always look impressive in the beginning. Sometimes real success looks very boring and very small. It looks like startinng a small bussiness with little capitall. It looks like learningg a new skill for six months without earningg anythingg. It looks like savingg quietly, makingg mistakes, failingg, tryingg again, and working behindd the scenes when noboody is clapping for you. It may take years before it becommes visible.
For example, a young person learningg tailloring may feel ashammed because his friends are postingh Benz, but that same tailloring skill can become a big fashion house in five years if he is patiennt.
You don't have to prove that you are successful while you are still becoming successful. It is okay to be in the process. It is okay that people don't see your growth yet.
So I ask, would you ratheer look successfull now and be broke and stressed behiind closed doors, or would you ratheer build a life that will geenuinely make you successfull later, even if it looks small noow?
I choose to build genuinely.
