One mistake can change your life for the better, mine was getting into Web3.
Web3 has been a part of my life for over 5 years now, and I am honestly glad I got into it. In fact, I wish I did sooner.
I remember how my web3 world opened up when I bought my first ever cryptocurrency. At first, I felt it was a mistake because I used my hard earned money to buy it back then thanks to all the buzz from my friends, and the price of the cryptocurrency started to fall. I saw the value of my money going down by the hour, and although I panicked, I left it like that until the next day.
Surprisingly, when I checked on it the next day, my money had double because the cryptocurrency had gone up in price. That was the beginning of my web3 journey.
Next, I began buying and stacking cryptocurrencies. As much as I sustained losses from trading cryptocurrencies, I also made a lot of gains. With time I realized that web3 is much more than just trading cryptocurrencies. It’s vast. I got into the world of defi. I also learnt about blockchains, NFTs, airdrops and much more. With each passing year I got to understand the web3 world and it became a huge part of my life.
Eventually, I got into hive and my web3 experience became even better.
Web3 is fun to me. I love the concepts in it. Particularly, I love the decentralization it is characterized with. I love the fact that anyone can get into web3 with nothing, and work their way up. I have learnt a lot in web3, especially through hive.
I have gained a lot of experience, and I have some advice to give. The first is that growth and learning should be the focus, not just making money. The more you learn and grow, the easier it will be to make more money. Secondly, for those who trade, always do your research before investing or getting involved in a coin or project, because that’s how you can determine if that thing is worth investing in, or if it is a scam. Doing your own research is so important because it will save you from a lot of financial mistakes.
A lot of people have this notion that there is a lot of money in web3, and that’s probably true, but it’s not easy. One has to be prudent, diligent and grow in order to make a good fortune in web3.
Like I mention earlier, I see web3 as fun, and that fun drives me to improve myself in the web3 ecosystem. For the record, my favorite part of web3 is decentralized finance (Defi).
Web3 is an industry that is evolving. Now, AI is being incorporated into it. There's also socialFi, infoFi, RWA(Real World Asset) and more. There's more adoption of blockchain technology, showing how far web3 is going. I believe there are more opportunities in web3 than a lot of industries.
Aaaaaahhhh you even made profits from your first try at the gig. Omo some of us lost money and experienced massive heartbreak, quit and went back again🤣🤣🤣
Nice story sir
You journey is really something we all wish we had
Keep it up
The future of web3 is really bright. In fact I still believe strongly that we are still even in the early stage of web3 as it will continue to get better and better in many years to come.
Many of us are actually wishing we got on web3 a lot earlier, we have see the good and bad sides of it and have come to a conclusion that the good sides outweigh the bad.
