NEPA Don bring light 🚨

Hello, beautiful people. Happy weekend; it feels good to be here again. For some weeks now, I haven't been writing in this community, for reasons best known to me, but by God's grace I'm back. So Back to the question of the day, which says "power supply." I came from a small town; while growing up, there was nothing like NEPA, but as time went on, development came, and we were able to get some power supply.

I can tell you that my community then had the best power supply in the state, because we could stay for a full month without lights being blinked. And the bill then was very friendly; let's say back then, with just one thousand five hundred, one could pay off his or her NEPA bills.

But ever since the government sold out the light to a private company, everything changed. We still see light, Sha, but not as before, and the bill 😳. I see so many houses now without NEPA lights because the bills are outrageous. One of the houses in my neighborhood, a very small house with not many appliances, got their bill, and it was seventy something thousand naira for just a month fa in this economy. At the end of the day, the light was cut off because they couldn't afford the bill.

And about maintenance, I think the people are trying, but. I can't say much in that aspect. And again another thing about the bills is, it depends on the area or the community that you are, they people that have constant light, their billing is different from the people that shares light per hours.

again, has our community transformer been stolen before? Yes, but it didn't take long before the community contributed money and bought another one. And I think the reason why bills are so high is because it is no longer a government property but private, so now the name is not NEPA anymore but AEDC that is for people around Abuja, I don't know for other states, which means Abuja Electricity Distribution Company. I enjoyed supply in my community till date. I don't cook much on my gas, I used hot plate 247. If I should rate power supply in my community, I could give them 8/10 Thank you for reading.
