My warmest greetings to everyone! I am @sila01, today I am here to share a special topic with our dear friends of the SciFi Multiverse community. I hope you are all well and having a great day.
‎The focus of today's discussion is the importance of yoga for physical well-being.
‎I hope you enjoy this little discussion. Don't forget to give me your feedback!

‎I never thought that a practice could change me like this. Earlier, my days were spent running around, worrying, tensing, and lacking sleep. My body was also quite heavy, tired. One day, a friend said, "You should start doing yoga, it will be good." That's when I thought, why not give it a try. That was the beginning, and since then, I have been doing yoga every day.
‎
‎To be honest, at first, it felt a little uncomfortable. My body wouldn't bend properly, it was difficult to breathe properly. But I didn't give up. I did it regularly, because I felt that something was changing. After a few days, I realized that my sleep was getting better, my mind was calmer, and my body felt lighter. I started studying with great interest what is the science behind this yoga exercise? Then I learned that yoga is not just a physical exercise, it affects everything on the nervous system, hormones, and brain.
‎
‎Let me tell you what happened in my own case. I used to be a very hasty person. My head would get hot at the slightest thing. But when I started doing Anuloma-Bilom and Bhramari Pranayama regularly, I realized that there is a calm place inside me. Now my anger has decreased, my patience has increased. Now I am cool-headed even when making big decisions. Yoga has had a big impact on my body. Earlier, I used to have pain in my neck and back, and I could not sit for long periods of time to work. But now, just doing Surya Namaskar and some balancing asanas makes my body feel completely refreshed. My lung capacity has also increased, and I no longer have difficulty breathing. A balance has been created within my body.
‎
‎I have studied science myself, so I know that many things about yoga are scientifically proven today. By doing this, the stress hormone called cortisol is reduced, blood pressure is controlled, and the heartbeat is normal. I didn't just read all this in books, I felt it in my own body.
‎I can say one thing very clearly that yoga has taught me to spend time with myself. Earlier, when I had time, I would sit with my phone and read, otherwise I would be busy with something or the other. Now I spend at least 15-20 minutes a day alone, close my eyes, and listen to my breathing. I find myself in that breathing.
‎
‎One more thing, when I do yoga, my mind also turns to food and drink. Earlier, I used to eat whatever I wanted, now my body tells me what will taste good and what will be heavy. Food is not just a taste of the tongue, but eating according to the needs of the body is an art. I learned this from yoga. I try to understand my thoughts by controlling my thoughts through meditation and breathing. Previously, I would think about what was happening, and then I would act. Now, when a thought comes to me, I give it some time to see if it is really useful. It is as if my inner scientist and saint have become friends.
‎
‎One more thing, I now encourage others to do yoga. Many people are surprised and ask, how do you stay so cool? I then say, “Try yoga once, you will understand.” I do not force anyone, because I know that it is a path that comes from within. I myself started it out of my own desire. Today, I see yoga as my life partner. It keeps my body in order, stabilizes my mind, and brings me back to myself. Every morning when I stand on my mat, out of breath, I feel like I am coming back to life. It is not just exercise, it is a science of life, a kind of scientific meditation method, which creates harmony between body, mind, and spirit.
‎
‎Finally, I will say that I do yoga because I want to understand myself, I want to awaken the unseen power within me. I have changed a lot today, because yoga did not teach me to change, it gave me the opportunity to know myself. So far today, I hope you will also practice yoga to keep your body and mind healthy. Everyone stay well and healthy. Thank you.
‎
Thank you very much for reading my writings. Stay well, everyone. Stay healthy. Bye.
