I believe not overdoing it can be a good start. Moderation is important in everything one's do in life. These young ones should be enlightened on how to reduce the use of social media inorder not to affect their critical thinking

Absolutely, with sound teaching about the ups and down, they'll understand what is expected of them and use it moderately, and we as parents should still monitor regardless.
But the Gen Z parents are ruining it all
