SCIENCE!!

HI my name is Philip Jr; I am going to be talking about science relating to computers. There has been a huge surge in study of Computer Science for undergraduate students. In my School alone, which is NOUN short for National Open University of Nigeria, a huge part of the new admitted students chose Computer Science as their course of discipline.

Right from a very young age, I have always wondered what made games work, why does the link work when I click it etc. So right from then, I subconsciously created a path that led me to studying computer science.

One thing I realized is that when it comes to technology, a bigger size is not often better, a smaller design which can do better is often the preferred case. Check out Iron Man, as the movie went on, he kept decreasing his mode of donning the suit from getting it from his warehouse to it being portable by briefcase and even made it to be as little as glasses. Now how is all this possible you ask? the answer is simple: SOFTWARE! He created an AI called Jarvis which helps him smoothen things out. An AI is made up of programs and a program is just series of instructions, as simple as that.

New inventions are being made, and what tells them what to do are the programming which are done by programmers. Supermarkets, Banks and other establishments are making their presence known online through websites, apps which makes things easier for their customers to get access to their services without actually having to leave wherever they are for example you could order things like food, phones, rides etc. from your current location and you get what you want without leaving your comfort zone.

So, in essence the world is moving on and I just want to move with it and not be left behind.
