Money is a very powerful substance. I agree that it amplifies what's already within but I also think it has the ability to change people, have you never had certain kind of money and suddenly, you felt like you are above, even the way you talk to people changed?
There is this automatic boldness that comes with money, and if not watched properly, it turns into arrogance. You might not necessarily be arrogant but money now gives you power and back up.
Some people were not drunkards before, infact they never imagined it, but when money came, they felt I have reached my rest and some how, they find themselves in the act... If money wasn't there, I doubt some of them would have been drunkards.
This is my opinion though, money changes some people, and to some people it amplifies who they already are.
Yeah, I get your point. What you mentioned here are some of the things we see. We can't deny them.
I like to look maybe deeper though, that what we see from people because they had money, they already had it or tendencies to it. Money in its own way amplifies and brings that to light. I don't want to see money necessarily as a change agent, but an amplifier.
For me, it's why I believe we should never think we can't do some things. Someone said a person who doesn't have money and is claimed to humble can't really be said to be so. Until he or she touches some kind of money and remains humble. I think that aligns with things you mentioned here.
Thank you for your wonderful comment sir.
