Great narrative, that part of " I am not attracted to persons that wear expensive clothes and again, staying far from persons that wear dirty clothes got my attention. Actually, the game of navigating first impressions is a game of wits. Therefore, it needs great tact and wisdom to navigate. It is different strokes for different folks. First impression indeed is a complex and broad topic. People can hide their true selves for a long time. Great discernment is also needed to depict characters, just as you've stated, how you try to depict the undertone characters to avoid being trapped in the issue of first impression

First impressions can mislead us in the case of true judgment, and that's why I always try to be careful. It's not that I don't want to trust people, I just want to stay alert and not let my guard down. At least in that case I won't lose anything.
