REFLECTING ON THE YEAR DURING CHRISTMAS SEASON
Hello #scifimultiverse, compliments of the season, it is yet another exciting moment to share our views on this week's prompt, and I am happy I made it.
Christmas is a signal for celebration and happiness, and everybody seems to play along consciously or unconsciously. Even when you want to shy away from questions regarding the authenticity of the claim of our creator being born in this season, the Christmas songs like Felix Navidad and others will definitely box you to a corner. Leaving one with no option but to join the chorus.

Showing gratitude and forgiveness is an everyday thing for me. This is because the weight that comes with unforgiveness cannot be left till end of the year. What if the person goes to the great beyond? What if the person loses the opportunity to reconcile with the other friend due to a change in location or other things? I would not advise anyone to wait a year before forgiving others or holding bitterness for that long. Honestly, the individual might go insane or lose their sanity.
However, I view Christmas as a time to show love, hope to the hopeless, and share what we have with the less fortunate. A period of giving and making the unhappy happy. Visiting individuals in their low moments and uplifting them through words of love and kindness. Visiting hospitals and showing people love. If possible, paying off some bills for the downtrodden, the orphans, and making the world a better place.
I count my blessings every other day and show gratitude to God Almighty and everyone who has shown support. I also have deep reflection almost every night before I sleep. I glance through my activities for the day, single out the good and bad, then work on any errors detected, including reaching out to those I feel I have offended and reconciling with them the next day or before the week runs out. This is because dozens of our it doesn’t matter leads to hard work and most times blocks our success when we ignore the red flags observed during reflection.

So Christmas truly prepares me for the new year. I also have my year in retrospect, and for the 2025 review, I would say that it was not bad. I am alive and thriving with good health and a sound mind. I am most grateful for this because it is when one is alive that other things can be discussed. Thanks to God.
Secondly, I am grateful to be a part of this ecosystem for the past seven months. Learning, unlearning, and improving on every given opportunity. It has also been a rollercoaster of building and networking with individuals from all walks of life. It has really opened me up for a better positioning through meeting and socialising with people in the ecosystem.
Thirdly, I have registered and earned professional certifications to boost my career, successfully handled special projects, and taken time to visit and support some sick individuals in my own little way.
Additionally, as it is my family's practice, this year being no exception, we reached out to individuals in our capacity with our gifts, visited some friends and family, and prayerfully prepared for a triumphant entry into 2026.
However, I have also had bad moments; I felt disappointed in losing out on a few final assessments that I was very confident about being successful. I have also had some moments where I overreacted and felt bad about those periods; however, my feedback section for the year has helped me reposition and restrategise for a better approach that I trust will yield the needed results in 2026. For now, I am on a personal retreat for a beautiful pummeling in 2026 with great determination and renewed hope.

There's a lot to be grateful for. I like how you portray the Christmas spirit. What your family does by reaching out to others is great. Hope you find the strength and resources to do more. We look forward to a better year.

Sometimes, we wait for Christmas 🎄 to give ,to love and to forgive.
All these things should be our daily trademark because nobody holds the magic wind of life.
It can happen and so be it.
We learn and unlearn everyday.
Thank you for stopping by.

Exactly! We should live the life of love, giving and forgiveness as if we'll die the next minute, not waiting for Christmas.
