A ROBOT WITH HUMAN BODY AND FEELINGS

Hello #scifimultiverse, happy new year, and welcome to my blog. How are you doing today? I am excited to be participating in this prompt, so I look forward to reading your amazing feedback in the comment section.
A Robot can be defined as a machine built to perform tasks automatically at a reasonable speed with reduced human supervision and error. Basically, Robots use programmable logical commands, sensors, and electrical and mechanical parts to execute their functions.

Imagine having such a machine with a human body and feelings as a friend. Imagine entering the factory at my workplace in the morning, and the Robot greets me and starts narrating what happened on the night shift, providing evidence of such reports, and advises me of the way forward. That moment will be filled with surprises, fun, and amazement.
Don’t you think I would be flabbergasted, want to hear more, and even take the Robot to my office for more information? Humans can be biased sometimes, but imagine a Robot rolling out a daily report without being asked, monitoring production, and generating a report regardless of the structure set up to carry out that function. Of the truth, I will use that Robot as my joker. I will use its report to reconfirm others. I will also be happy to have the Robot as a friend, but not a replacement for my existing friends.

Furthermore, I would like to share work and not romantic emotions with such a robot. I would also like to have a memorandum of understanding or have the robot programmed in such a way that it does not breach the privacy policy or divulge sensitive information to the outside world. Though humans may always break promises, a Robot can be programmed to shut its mouth regarding information, but humans can betray, especially in the face of a little provocation.
Worst still, imagine that the Robot is requesting food to refuel its energy, which would be the weirdest moments, shares emotional concerns, and verbally replies to messages. Assists me in remembering employees' birthdays and some important dates in our organisation without error. That is when we can shudder to see how far science and scientists have gone.

However, on the other hand, robots can become troublesome, as has happened in different factories in Europe. When it becomes chaotic and refuses to carry out assigned tasks, it unleashes heavy beating on the factory warehouse staff and wounds them. There might be a technical glitch that can lead to such horrific moments where employees’ lives are threatened.
Therefore, I wouldn’t want to replace the humans in my life with a robot. A programmed dummy remote controlled by humans that was created for them or sold/hired to where they could be used as humans liked.
But would I want them as friends? Yes, as a gist partner, a jolly good fellow, and my informant to keep my work flowing and seamless. Because at the end, they are answerable to the humans that own them.

Dear Sis, thank you for the curatiom.
I deeply appreciate your support 🙏 ❤️
This is a well-balanced approach and I love it.
Robots can indeed have technical issues which can cause it to start malfunctioning and all. They would do better in carrying out task than they would in sharing emotional moments and the likes.
Thanks for sharing.

Great piece... Well done
Without control and supervision robots will not function well.
Exactly what I said, in the end they are products of their manufacturers and will always belong to them..
Your imaginations are deep, actually if the relationship is with boundaries and for a defined purpose, it would be something, I would personally love to have too
