PIXYDUST Token Tip Bot Basics

A few of you have already figured out what the other token in the pair for the tip bot and LP is . Yes it is HSBIDAO. Since I am doing an intro on the other account I will mainly talk about why I chose that token for the pair in this post.

I was thinking about pairing the tip bot token with swap.hive or HSBIDAO. I hadn't made a decision on it. I was still figuring things out . Then it was announced that they have a LP they were launching/just launched with another token. It was then I learned that folks who are in the LP will still earn divs from the HSBIDAO token while holding in the LPs just like you would if you were hodling them in your own account.

I did reach out to Joseph to get the ok to pursue this before making the final decision. The more I thought about it the more HSBIDAO made sense. Especially since just holding the tokens in the tip bot (or any account) earns the divs automatically. swap.hive does not have this feature. So the decision was made.

The PIXYDUST token will be soft pegged price wise to the HSBIDAO. The buyback and pre sale price will be 0.475 but I will also have sell orders between the 0.475 and 0.5 similar to how HSBIDAO is after the pre sale. The pre sale will be very limited. this will also make balancing the LP easier if the two tokens are essentially equal in value.

Earning divs while the tokens just sit in the tip bot account is also really good. Considering I have the tip bot for UNICOIN loaded with enough tokens to cover over a year's worth of tips (at current useage rates)holding a similar amount in HSBIDAO tokens for PIXYDUST will also reduce the cost because it will be earning divs multiple times a day.

Eventually I will have enough HSBIDAO held in the tip bot and the @pixydust accounts (also I will put some in the LP ) to pay for the tips with just the divs. That's something that will take a while to build up but I have achieved the equivalent of that with UNICOIN.

Right now based on 3% APR from HP(though the rate has been higher for a while now) this account earns enough in interest alone to fund the UNICOIN tip bot at the current rate of usage. The CENT tokens distributed are also sustainable , earning them from LPs, post earnings , and curation. I am simply looking to do something similar with the other token just in HSBIDAO token divs, as well as HP but HP will be a secondary priority.

PIXYDUST tokens will be backed by HP/HIVE/Hive-engine holdings before mint just like UNICOIN but at first it will be mostly hive-engine tokens, and specifically HSBIDAO tokens backing it. Once the @pixydust account gets going and starts earning from curation, posts etc the HP will grow on it's own. It is being set up now and that account is earning a tiny bit in curation as we speak.Also some of the pre sale funds will be powered up to that account as well.

I don't have any launch/presale dates yet becasue I still need to have the surgery scheduled first. Once i have that date I can work around it. Everything is waiting on the biopsy to schedule it so...I will just have to wait.

I will post more details as we get closer. It will work similar to UNICOIN in that use of the tip bot will be based on HP delegations in increments of 25, but the rest of the details I will roll out as things are finalized. The tip bot will favor the sender (the sender will earn more than the receiver). I will post more specifics soon.
