Mid January Update-Ecency Delegation

January is half way over so I figured I'd do a quick update. Buybacks have completed. I may do a smaller buyback in February. I will update more on that when the time comes. There aren't many folks taking advantage of the buybacks these days except arbitrage bots/traders and some of my alts. I take advantage of the arbitrage, too. This is because most folks are putting their tokens in the LP. I don't blame them. The APR is over 40% right now.

Everything here is going smoothly. I recently used my ecency points from this and other accounts and got a delegation for 90 days. These delegations do help. I am earning an ok amount of points by delegating HP.

I also am going to be focusing more on hive-engine tokens on this account for the year. Especially HSBIDAO. @tribefairy will be more HP goal oriented. I am in a good spot with this account where I can focus on more H-E tokens.

There are permanent buybacks with HSBIDAO tokens. I know the minimum the tokens will be worth if/when I ever choose to sell them. Accumulating more tokens may also help me gain more liquid HIVE quickly . If I in the future ever choose to sell them , the can be traded instantly for 0.475 swap.hive each. This is easier than powering down HIVE if I ever need some liquid HIVE in a pinch like if a big HODLER wants to take advantage of the guaranteed buybacks for instance. Or if a lot of people want to exchange UNICOIN for HSBI units and I don't have the liquid HIVE on hand.

This can also help me ween off adding outside funds. I have been doing that for a about 6 months now on a small scale. Adding outside funds and using those funds to build this and the connected accounts. That is no longer really necessary for the rate of growth. I will still put in a small amount of outside funds but I will not need to do it as often as I have been.

I never really "needed' to add these funds. They simply are allowing me to grow the accounts faster than if I was just leveraging earnings. It's good to be in a place where I don't feel I need to focus so much on building/using outside funds as most everything is on auto-pilot right now.

The main thing I will be using the outside funds for moving forward is the monthly matching of curation earnings. I have decided to split that strategy up as well. On tribefairy it will be a straight HP match. If I earn 20 HP in curation on that account, I will power up 20 HIVE every month. However, on this account, I will match the equivalent but I may use those funds to buy HSBI/HSBIDAO units in addition to/instead of powering it all up. I may also purchase other hive-engine assets like BEE. That will likely be a month to month decision and I will probably power up a little HIVE as well. I will still match the equivalent value ,but it won't all be HP matching on this account.

The next ecency delegation rental with points will likely go to the @tribefairy account, that will take several months at the rate I am accumulating points. I will be slowly increasing my ecency HP delegation on this and other accounts. I do try to stretch these points /delegations over the various accounts.
