I am going to discuss tentative ideas and plans in this post. Nothing here is set in stone. This is more of an outline/brainstorm but I am looking for feedback. This post is not financial advice.
Just for giving feedback, I will send everyone that makes a thoughtful comment in the next 7 days 50 ecency points as a thank you. 1 per account.
Adding CENT to the tip bot. This seems to be a popular idea. I have thought of adding another token since before UNICOIN launched. There are two ways we could do this that I can think of from a technical standpoint. We have a few other things to do code wise, but this is easily solvable.
The long term issue is sustainability. Like everything with UNICOIN it needs to be sustainable. Here is my plan:
Increase holdings in the CENT diesel liquidity pools. I have a good idea which pools to jump in and how much is needed from my primary account. I basically need to multiply those holdings by 1.5 and that would get us started.
This can be funded by using the HBD from posts and swapping and adding to the CENT liquidity pools(not just the HBD pair). Powering up some CENT as well, but mostly putting funds into the diesel pools.
This is all easily do able.
The catch? If I add CENT to the tip bot, the amount of UNICOIN distributed per call will decrease. This is because it will cost resources to maintain these diesel pools. Everything here needs to be balanced ,sustainable and paid for.
Comment below if you are interested in adding CENT to the tip bot (tipped to both parties) knowing that the amount of UNICOIN per tip will go down to balance it out? Let me now in the comments. I am especially interested in hearing from delegators or folks who are considering delegating.
Another thing on the list is creating a UNICOIN diesel pool. Not for price stabilization though. Price doesn't matter here, though arbitrage is fun . It would be more of a way for folks to earn rewards in the pools while also spreading the word about UNICOIN.
This is a long way out. To set up the pool costs 1000 BEE plus I'd need to make sure there is adequate liquidity and rewards.
We are not there yet income wise. I can't justify the cost of setting one up- not yet anyway. I do have a plan on how to start building it over time -essentially leveraging other diesel pool rewards to help fund it. Increasing our holdings in the CENT pools (and other pools)can help with this as well.
We'd need about $1000 in total assets including pool rewards, BEE cost, initial liquidity etc to set up a pool and we aren't there yet. That's not a good or bad thing , it just ...is.
It is something I am planning on. Like all things here, there is a method to my madness. I see it simply as a goal to work toward.
Adding CENT, to the tip bot if that's what folks support , shouldn't take too long to implement.By that I mean in the next couple of months likely. Please let me know what you think about adding CENT and the trade off below.
Adding CENT as a tipping reward would be awesome. Can you do that without reducing the UNICOIN amount??
One tangent question;
Where can I get the full breakdown of tipping amount. I think we can send tip depending upon the HP delegation, right? Do both sender and receiver get the same amount of tokens?
Thanks

"Where can I get the full breakdown of tipping amount. I think we can send tip depending upon the HP delegation, right? Do both sender and receiver get the same amount of tokens?"
it's in the whitepaper and the daily collection posts from the bot(and a few other posts) but it's 1 call per 25 HP delegated. The sender and receiver both receive .0025 each.
"Adding CENT as a tipping reward would be awesome. Can you do that without reducing the UNICOIN amount??"
Short answer, no . All UNICOIN are backed before mint. that number fro the ti bot is based on math/profits. Adding CENT adds an ongoing cost (buying tokens or maintaining liquidity pool holdings. Everything in UNICOIn is sustainable . The only way i could possibly do that is raise the delegation requirement, and I don't wan to do that. But if the community wants that, then it can be considered.
We pay out a lot here. HSBI exchanges give a 20% bonus ( most of that is at my personal expense for the the first two years or so then it will even out). Buybacks are over 1 swap.hive. The tip bot pays out total 7.3% yearly I can't just give away more tokens and not have them "paid" for. if that makes sense

Thank you very much.
I appreciate the Ecency points!

CENT is one of those tokens that decreased in value for quite some time, the investment-case around it is complicated (I don't want to invest in stuff I don't understand) and it is on my "most likely dead soon-list"...strong veto from my standpoint

Have you ventured into the liquidity pools for CENT? Just curious. For me that is where the value is. Is there another token you would be interested in?
I never tapped into liquidity pools, so it might be a valid investment...but if so, why is the token price of CENT dropping and dropping?
I am interested in buying BBH and BBHO and dripping part of the drip to UNI token holders. Getting direct drips is a value every token holder can comprehend and therefore buying more of a certain token.

Mi interested in CENT being added, and also pools (a.k.a. ponds).

Ponds for the froggie :) I just sent your HSBI. !BBH
It seems like a good option, my friend, the more alliances you have, the better, that's HIE, creating a community

Hey buddy. Greetings! Because of your participation in the CryptoCompany community you received a vote from @CryptoCompany and its trail! Thank you for your participation in the "Banner for Boost" campaign & Hive a great day!
I read the post, then I read the comments. All good info and everyone here has a good positive attitude!
So I'm not sure if I have seen any other tipping bots that give more than one token. Maybe there are such, but I don't know if them. So it would make UNICOIN unique or rare if it tipped 2 tokens.
However, the CENT chart doesn't look great. But then again, as you said, it is in a lot of pools. I just dipped my toe in a CENT pond (As we PEPE people like to call the pools) and a TRIBE one too. Thanks for the info on those pools that you left in the comments!
I like this! Granted, 1000 BEE is a high-ish bar to entry. At 2.30200321 BEE/SWAP.HIVE that would cost 434 HIVE worth $87 at the moment.
If you did do such a pool, you could give CENT as LP rewards there.
Another idea is to airdrop CENT based on HP delegations to you, as a reward for that support.
Bottom Line: Ha, I really am all over the place here :D
I guess I don't have any strong preference for any ideas mentioned so I'll just see what everyone else says, and see what you decide to do!
In any case, Go UNICOIN!

There was a bot that tipped more than one token but it was buggy and doesn't exist anymore. There are a couple of ways to go about it that I am aware of. As for the pools, the BEE fee itself isn't too bad but it would need to have a fair amount of liquidity and rewards, hence the $1k estimate above. We'd want at least $500-$600 in the pool to start. Plus rewards. Too little liquidity would be bad. I actually was talking to my husband about how this could work. With such a small circulating supply it could be great for UNICOIN to have a pool of some sort. Someday..... but setting up the bot to tip another token (or cloning the bot and just switching out the token and running two bots) is relatively easy. Some of that code, or at leas the logic may be in your faucet bot(?) as it pays out in multiple currencies. yes I am loving the discussion and positive attitudes. !BBH !UNICOIN !PIZZA
Sounds like you are thinking this through and I'm sure whatever you do will be awesome as a unicorn! :)
Ya, I have several bots running on my raspberry pi right here in front of me. It's on 24/7 and uses very little electricity, and I don't have to pay server fees or worry about having code with keys in it anywhere outside my control. I set my bots up as html files with javascript and I run the files from my pi on my pi's browser with a simple User Interface since I'm the only one who sees it.
The tokenfaucet bot does pay one of 4 tokens, randomly chosen. I don't stream the blocks like the tip bots do, because I only look for replies to a given post, and only have 1 post active at a time, the most recent one. I only check for new replies every 2 minutes so I'm not hitting the API often. And I'm giving tokens from my own wallet which has a limited number of tokens in it, just incase someone figures out a way to get a bunch of tokens. The wallet will just run out of tokens to give. And I check for a rep of 30 or higher, so if someone makes 100000 new accounts to attack my post, they will all be rep 25 and won't get anything.
Just putting these coding thoughts here in case you or someone else finds them helpful. :)
