Quite unbearable is the fact that the rate at which nature changes in the recent century and particularly this year at large is becoming alarming. This has been on the increase aspect as lives are lost, properties destroyed, hunger strike and many more damages just to mention but a few. The cases of flooding has been on the increase this year as it has been passing from continents to continents, countries to countries and many more. The worst aspect is that none of this persistent rainfall doesn't cause flooding which will lead to loss of lives and properties. The recent happening is that in India and Bangladesh as forty-one persons already killed and up to 6million stranded and more counting.
Monsoon storms in Bangladesh and India have killed at least 41 people and unleashed devastating floods that left millions of others stranded, officials said on Saturday. Floods are a regular menace to millions of people in low-lying Bangladesh, but experts say climate change is increasing their frequency, ferocity and unpredictability. Relentless downpours over the past week have inundated vast stretches of Bangladesh’s northeast, with troops deployed to evacuate households cut off from neighbouring communities.source
One discouraging factor about rain is that when it starts, until it reaches to its satisfaction or the whole atmosphere and weather clear enough,it's not going to stop. When the damaging aspect starts it continues to damage and nothing stands on its way, irony enough is that one watches the houses and things it catches damage at the very sight and nothing done about it. The rate of this drastic weather change revenging the whole word is something what thinking and researching more about as it seems its becoming intercontinental. Quite sure we know that different seasons exist and when each season starts it always comes to an end but if any of the seasons goes extra mile more than it ought to,then an alternative to counter its effect should be on the way as every life matters.
The whole village went under water by early Friday and we all got stranded,” Lokman, whose family lives in Companiganj village, told AFP news agency.source
This report coming from the survivor as the rain started as an ordinary such as expected but continued and becomes escalated. As recorded that some village squares, schools are now used as a bidding center as homes and families not to talk of farm lands are already destroyed. Such a bad situation to the affected.
A little addition from me is regarding the aspect of the government having a fortified infrastructure and technology that tries to tackle any adverse weather condition. In this situation, if a good and well built water bank is provided,it might have lessened the way the damages has been and maybe some lives rescued. Our support and love goes to those affected as every life matters.
