I just watched a very emotionall Nollywood movie titled A Quiet Pain showing on Uchenna Mbunabo TV on YouTube, and honestlly, this moviee left me speechlless. 😢
The story is about a young girll (Daisy) who falls in love with a yooung man (Chidi) she met in schoool. It was a beautiful youngg love.
What she never knew was that the man she was falling in love with was actually connected to her family in the most heartbreaking way.
Her mother had always told her that her father was dead. The mother was not lying — she genuinely believed he was dead. She had no idea that he was still alive, living somewhere else and raising another family.
As their love grew deeper, Daisy got pregnant. When she went back home to tell her mother, her mother said "take me to his family, let us go and meet his people."
Nobody knew that this simple visit would reveal a devastating truth that would change everything. 💔
The truth came out in front of everyone — and it was too painful to bear. The young couple were left confused, depressed and shattered. They could not cope with the reality of what they just discovered. Sadly, it ended in tragedy and left everyone heartbroken.
MY THOUGHTS ON DAISY & GOLD'S FRIENDSHIP:
There's a lot I really want to say about Daisy & Gold's friendship, especially G knowing D has a strong crush on Chidi....
This is why you should be careful of random jealous remarks from any human and be street smart. This part of the movie really pained me. An intelligent undergraduate girl seeking help from a quack medical practitioner because of bad advice? It shows how jealousy and wrong advice can destroy a person.
MY LESSONS FROM THE MOVIE:
- Karma is not revenge — it is a reminder of what we try to bury.
- Some family secrets can cause serious pain when they finally come out.
- Be careful who you call friend — jealousy can come from close places.
- Parents should alwayys tell their chilldren the truth about their familly historyy.
This movie is more than just a movie — it is a painful reminder that sometimes people make decisions without knowing the full truth, and by the time the truth is revealed, it may already be too late.
