RE: What do you want to do after NYSC?

The truth is, even after acquiring skills and going to school, there is no success guaranteed. Life is unpredictable, and you never can tell which will work but yes, it is good to prepare. It is easier said than done. A lady will not marry herself. Most ladies graduate single or spend their youthful years with a man that is not ready to settle down. And as men have it, so do we ladies. A single lady that is her family's first born will not wait for a man to come sweep her off her feet before trying to be the elder sister her siblings need. I don't believe life distributes lemon per gender. But, I do agree with you that men have it harder. However, the pressure to be successful after NYSC cuts across both gender.

I wasn't trying to play down the pressure the female gender experiences after school. But the truth remains that a woman's fortune can change unexpectedly through marriage. Men don't have this opportunity. Society doesn't respect poor/jobless men. A jobless woman can marry, but a jobless man cannot.
