The appointed day when the whole world worships the one and only Tengo....

When is World Tengo Day?

Every fluffing day is World Tengo Day!!!

My god, what did they teach in school???

How has WTD evolved through the ages?

Well as the world has become so fluffing woke and PC so have the observations of WTD changed for the worse if you ask Tengo himself!

No more Human Sacrifices This one is a tad upsetting as it was a great way to get rid of some evil humans, but alas no more human sacrifices are allowed in the name of WTD. Please note that no human virgins were ever sacrificed in the name of WTD!

Lesser Animal Sacrifice The larger sacrifice of animals is no longer undertake on WRD, but there are still sacrifices on a smaller scale for WTD where all the sacrifice is used. It leads for ethical uses of all parts of a carcase and helps to reduce the use on plastic and other climate change causes! Not to mention all blood does make for some wonderful black puddings!

More discreet Temple Prostitution The days free love and people engaging in sexual acts as a way to honor Tengo are long gone.... Or are they 😜 ? In reality they have gone underground just look at P Diddy....

Eradication of Gladiator Contests In days gone by gladiatorial contests were held in honor of Tengo. However, in reality these brutal events which involved armed combatants fighting to the death were really only for the entertainment of the crowds.

Reduced Child Labour/Sacrifice In days gone by, some children were sacrificed as homage to Tengo. Indeed some children were also forced to work in dangerous conditions. Today this has been reduced... But all those cheap clothes you wear.... They were probably made with cheap child labour. So don't kid yourself child labour and the sacrifice of children's childhoods is still rampant!

So how can you celebrate World Tengo Day now?

Partyyyyyy of course

Well play music and dance as well as eat and be merry!

It should be a day of celebration a day of joviality, a day of fun, a day of making love!

In other words it should be a day of loving yourself...

Afterall Tengo believes ....

DO WHAT YOU LOVE AND DO IT OFTEN

Of course for some out there in the world, that might mean prayer, it might mean meditating.

That is all fine, afterall Archie Cameron the alterego of Tengo did indeed perform the Lokah samastah sukhino bhavantu mantra every morning!

So if you do meditate to celebrate World Tengo Day how about doing what Archie does ...

It is a mantra of cooperation and compassion. The mantra actually means “May all beings everywhere be happy and free, and may the thoughts, words, and actions of my own life contribute in some way to that happiness and to that freedom for all”
