Today I went to church and we were taught about Rhema (God's spoken Word to you).

I just got home now now self. It seems as if I was not going to go before, because it rained heavily, but thank God I went . It was a prophetic Sunday / worship clinic.
I actually am grateful that I went.

This weekend was a hectic one but thank God I made it to church ...

Quick recap!

I learnt that I shouldn't be afraid of the storms of life as long as I have God. Instead , I should cast all my worries to Him , trusting him completely to come through for me

My Sundays has been more of relaxing after I had lunch with my family ..

Currently , we are watching cartoons with the kids but it's boring 🤦

Today's service was one of a kind. I just got back home not up to 10 minutes ago. I even came back early today.

There was no power supply yesterday so I couldn't iron my clothes. We were asked to put on yellow attire to church and my yellow attire was extremely rumpled. Had to carry iron to church, for what can separate me from the love of Christ??? Not even a rumpled attire can separate me from the love of Christ. Despite the heavy rain, I was still able to make it down to the church. Glory to God.

In church the pastor preached on overcoming by the word. He told us a story about a man who was denied Visa for several years despite having all the required documents. One day, he said ENOUGH IS ENOUGH. He brought out the word of God and started studying his Bible looking for the word in the Bible that speaks about his present situation and then he saw something in the Bible which says "I (God) has opened doors for you to go in and out of nations". He keyed to that word and that same month he was granted Visa. I learnt that there is so much power in the word of God, more powerful than we could ever think or imagine and that for every situation we are passing through, there is a word of God for that situation.

Okay that's good

Went to Church today. The sermon was wonderful. The youth ministered in drama, which the Reverend reinforced upon it in his preaching. It mainly talked of the role of women in submission and that of men in loving as Christ did the Church. He also exhorted us to be weary of the worship of idols, stating it doesn't mean we have to do it directly, but we can worship idols in different ways.

Well, I came back and went somewhere for Sunday rice. Glory, it was a successful mission.

Now, I await 4:30pm. It's either cook or be cooked. People wey know, know 🙂😁.

There was no church today o cos it has been raining heavily and stopping continuously so we gave up and had our service at home.

Sunday has been a continued gist day and seeing YouTube movies until the light went off

Yeah, I went to church today, we celebrated our 11th year Bible week anniversary. Our theme : Seperated unto God, text was taken from Numbers 6:1-8 which talks about the Nazarite vow, the Nazarite vow entails 3 major things that was spot out in the scripture.

1. You're not to take wine or any strong drinks or any drink or food for grape
2. Razor must not touch your head
3. Your must not touch or move close to dead bodies

All these 3 points have their significance
The wine symbolizes seperation from worldly pleasures
The razor vow symbolizes dedication to God during the period of the vow and
The abstaining from dead bodies symbolizes purity

Another thing about the Nazarite vow is that it is not gender bias, it is a vow you take willingly and it has a Time frame.

All that said are from the Old testament, we looked into the New Testament and have a clear understanding of how to Seperate oneself for God.

From the New Testament, we looked at the book of Romans 12:1-2, there it talks about how we should present our bodies as a Holy sacrifice unto God.
Comparing the two, I realize in the New Testament, The vow is taken willingly too, by confession with your mouth and accepting Him as your Lord and personal Savior then, your whole(body) should glorify Him.

It doesn't have a time frame like the Old Testament
It is also not gender bias
And seperation from worldly things not only strong wine
We looked at 2tim 2:14-21 where we also looked at how talking too much can ruin a man and that God doesn't like that.
Also, Eph 2:10 we talk about us being the product of His creations and also point out the path that He want us to walk there in.

In all these, I learnt in this era, the Nazarite vow is for everyone but I looked at it from the new testament angle, you don't have to have dreadlocks and all before you can decide to separate oneself for God, this Seperation is some we must do every day and also profess every morning and have make the vow to always do this every morning before anything.
