GDG PORT HARCOURT NIGERIA
I know many of you might and will be wondering why we haven't been dishing out update for our Miss Blockchain event and other projects we've been working on.
Well, the thing is that we have decided to hold on for a while and as a brand we can't start creating posts that are of no value because we want to create content that keeps us busy and we are a brand that loves the originality of things too.
Meanwhile, I personally have decided to network, meet, and collaborate with like minds in the tech and blockchain industry whilst I plan my career in the entertainment world. It has not been easy trying to link entertainment and blockchain even though I have done it before but this isn't why am here.
The GDG stands for GOOGLE DEVELOPERS GROUP and there's an event they do tagged DevFest, a festival for developers and others to meet, network, learn and get connected with like minds to plan a possible future. The brand I represent is a simple tech based media brand that has a journalist and what we do is simple which is going round covering tech events and also having exclusive interviews with startup founders and pro tech individual to tell their stories of little beginning and how they gained ground.
The GDG event is one of the biggest tech based event in nigeria and in port harcourt it's actually the biggest and soon I'll start having opportunity to pitch and also speak to congregations like this about Hive and how it can also make a big change in the world.
We got speakers from various niche in tech and blockchain to feed us with what they have for us and trust me this speakers all came with fire that could burn your soul and make you hungry for more, trust me it's not easy to leave the venue I made over 30 friends if not more after the event and I did some videos too which I will upload occasionally.

I thought Nigeria was averse to crypto? The Government. Wouldn't that put you in trouble?
But that is a great fest and if you can shill Hive, would be awesome.
Already working towards shilling hive in some of these event just don't have materials yet.
Meanwhile yes Nigeria is against it that's why we use the term Tech and also know brands like Google and others to host this events.
