Weiterhin jede Menge News im Oktober!
Auch abseits des Halloween-Events gibt es wieder tolle Neuerungen und Events. Es gibt ein Update, das speziell für alle Entwickler von 3D Assets für Upland höchst interessant ist und eine Änderung bei den Racing Events, die den Besitz von Autos und die Teilnahme an Rennen noch attraktiver macht. Außerdem läuft aktuell wieder eine Spark Woche und es gab den Verkauf der Totems des 3. Kapitels. Ein Doppel-Sale weiterer Stock Car Pro Series Cars kommt dann in den kommenden Tagen. Den Abschluss des Updates bildet der neue Upland Players Podcast mit Detech.

There are also great innovations and events in addition to the Halloween events. There is an update that is particularly interesting for all developers of 3D assets for Uplamd and a change to the racing events that makes owning cars and participating in races even more attractive. Verbesserungen des User-Generated-Content-Prozesses
- Seit langer Zeit können Uplander bestimmte Inhalte des Spiels selbst entwerfen und mittels eines eher aufwändigen UGC-Prozesses ins Spiel bringen. UGC steht für User-Generated-Content. Dieser Prozess wurde nun überarbeitet und bringt enorme Erleichterungen. Damit ist es auch für weniger versierte Designer (Creators) unkomplizierter geworden, Inhalte zu erstellen und ins Spiel zu bringen.
- Alle relevanten Infos, Beispielsdateien und Tutorials werden im Upland Design Gitbook Guide bereitgestellt.
- Eine wichtige Änderung in diesem Zusammenhang betrifft die Ausweitung der Office-Zeiten des 3D-Teams auf Discord.

Autorennen mit Einsätzen
- Upland führt ein neues Feature bei Autorennen ein. Ab sofort können Renneinsätze beim Anlegen eines Rennens festgelegt werden. Es ist auch weiterhin möglich, Rennen ohne Einsatz anzulegen.
- Der maximale Einsatz beträgt 100.000 UPX. Um an einem Rennen mit Einsatz teilzunehmen, muss entsprechend zugestimmt werden. Der Preis Pool ergibt sich aus der Summe der Einsätze abzüglich der Community-Transaktionsgebühren und der Gebühr für den Rennstreckenbesitzer (5%). Nehmen 2 Spieler teil, gibt es für den 1. Platz 70% und für den 2. Platz 30% des Preisgeldes. Bei 3 oder mehr Rennteilnehmern gibt es für den 1. Platz 50%, den 2. Platz 30% und den 3. Platz 20%.
- Ein wichtiges Feature fehlt allerdings - es kann noch nicht eingestellt werden, welche Auto-Typen beim jeweiligen Rennen erlaubt sind.

Oktober Spark-Woche
- Nach einer längeren Pause läuft seit 16. Oktober wieder eine Spark-Woche. Bis zum 23. Oktober kann so lange der Vorrat reicht Spark gekauft werden und es gibt für alle, die einen Rang (Status) aufsteigen die begehrten Status Up Spark Rewards.
- Leider gab es diesmal keine Spark-Treasure Hunts. Damit bleibt nur die Gelegenheit Spark in den normalen Schatzjagden zu finden.

Totem Mystery Pass Sale: Chapter 3
- Beim gerade zu Ende gegangenen Sale der Totems des 3. Kapitels konnten Hai- und Panda-Totems erstanden werden. Wie bei allen derartigen Sales musste man sich vorab registrieren und konnte dann entsprechend der Reihung das eine oder andere Totem für USD oder UPX kaufen.
- Da es in Summe 5 Kapitel gibt, besteht die Chance an 2 weiteren Sales teilzunehmen. Natürlich kann jederzeit am Sekundärmarkt nach Totems Ausschau gehalten werden.

Stock Car Pro Series Double Exclusive Sale
- Upland veranstaltet zeitgleich die zwei exklusiven Autoverkäufe für Besitzer von Mementos und Memento-Pässen der Stock Car Pro Series Rennen 8 und 9. In den Verkauf kommen 2 x 36 Autopässe, die kurz nach dem Sale gegen die Autos eingetauscht werden können. Erhältlich sind für die glücklichen Car Pass Besitzer dann 11% Pro-Autos, 22% Competition-Autos, 67% Trainer-Autos.
- Kaufberechtigt ist, wer beim Systemsnapshot am 20. Oktober ein Memento oder einen Pass des 8. bzw. 9. Rennens hatte.
- Die Registrierung für den Sale läuft ab Montag, 23. Oktober um 8 am PT (MESZ +9).
- Verkaufsstart ist Dienstag, 24. Oktober um 9 am PT (MESZ +9).

Improvements to the user-generated content process
- For a long time, Uplanders have been able to design certain game content themselves and bring it into the game using a rather complex UGC process. UGC stands for user-generated content. This process has now been revised and brings enormous relief. This has made it easier for less experienced designers to create content and bring it into play.

Car racing with stakes
- Upland introduces a new feature in car racing. From now on, race stakes can be set when creating a race. It is still possible to create races without stakes.
- The maximum bet is 100,000 UPX. In order to take part in a race with stakes, you must agree accordingly. The price pool is the sum of the stakes minus the community transaction fees and the racetrack owner fee (5%). If 2 players take part, 1st place will receive 70% of the prize money and 2nd place will receive 30% of the prize money. If there are 3 or more race participants, 1st place receives 50%, 2nd place 30% and 3rd place 20%.
- However, an important feature is missing - it is not yet possible to set which car types are allowed in each race.

October Spark Week
