November has it all. Gesucht: Der hässlichste Weihnachtspullover
- Geschmacklose und kitschige Weihnachtspullover, auch Ugly Christmas Sweater genannt, sind seit etlichen Jahren ein fester Bestandteil der Weihnachtszeit. Es gibt sogar einen eigenen Ugly Christmas Sweater Day - dieser wird in der Regel am dritten Freitag im Dezember begangen. Beim Ugliest Sweater Showdown in Upland geht es nun darum, den bizzarrsten und furchtbarsten Pullover als Wearable für Avatare zu gestalten.

Weiterer Stock Car Pro Series Car Sale
- Der Exklusiver Autoverkauf der Stock Car Pro Series für Memento- und Memento-Pass-Inhaber von Rennen 1 und 2 geht dieses Wochenende über die Bühne. Der Ablauf ist wie bei den vorangegangenen Sales (Snapshot - Registrierung - Sale der limitierten Pässe - Einlösung der Pässe)

Vorankündigung der Totem-Enthüllung der 4. Kapitels
- Demnächst kommen die Totems des 4. Kapitels ins Spiel: Ziege und Python. Wie bei den bisherigen Totem-Sales geht es zunächst um den Erwerb der Mystery Pässe, die dann gegen die Totems getauscht werden können.
- Den weiteren Verlauf des Abenteuers kann durch ein Voting mitbestimmt werden. Dazu wird die Community befragt, ob sich Miles und Gaia in den Kerker wagen oder ob sie zur Brücke hinaufsteigen sollen.

Überraschende City Erweiterung von London
- Mit äußerst kurzfristiger Vorankündigung – nur einen Tag im Voraus – hat Upland eine weitere Expansion der britischen Hauptstadt durchgeführt. Insgesamt wurden 18 Nachbarschaften des Royal Boroughs of Kensington and Chelsea hinzugefügt. Da die Erweiterung im Vanilla-Modus durchgeführt wurde, werden die neuen Sammlungen erst in der kommenden Woche bekannt gegeben. Das bietet ausreichend Zeit, um noch ungeminte Grundstücke zu ergattern oder sich auf dem Sekundärmarkt umzusehen.

London Wearables Sale
- Anlässlich der aktuellen City Expansion gab es einen Verkauf speziell UK-getrimmter Wearables. Der Verkauf ist bereits vorüber. Wer diese Outfits haben möchte, muss sich am Sekundärmarkt umsehen.

Mint Master Badges
- Upland hat vier neue Badges eingeführt, die bei City Releases und Expansionen an Spieler verliehen werden. Diese Badges belohnen die Besitzer der ersten drei Grundstücke, die drei Spieler mit den meisten geminten Grundstücken, sowie die Besitzer der drei größten und der drei kleinsten Grundstücke.

The Golden City Rush
- Bei den sogenannten verlorenen Grundstücken handelt es sich um Liegenschaften an Adressen in bestehenden Upland Städten, die bei der jeweiligen Stadteinführung zunächst nicht zum Minten verfügbar waren. Beim Golden City Rush geht es konkret um die verlorenen Grundstücke in San Francisco. Um die Berechtigung zu erhalten, eines dieser Grunstücke zu minten, musste ein speziell designter Block Explorer erworben werden.

Brazil Immersive Fashion Week Experience & Giveaway
- Die Brazil Immersive Fashion Week (BRIFW) und die Wired Conference arbeiten künftig mit Upland zusammen, um ein neues Web3-Engagement-Erlebnis zu bieten. BRIFW wurde gegründet, um Marken, Künstlern und unabhängigen Fachleuten einen Raum zu bieten, in dem sie mit anderen Formaten der Kreation, Produktion und Präsentation von Sammlungen experimentieren können und dabei neue immersive Realitäten nutzen. Das erste diesbezügliche Eventfand am 1. und 2. November statt.

Doge Day Feier in Upland
- Zusammen mit Own the Doge wurde in Upland Kabosu’s Geburtstag und damit der Doge Day zelebriert. Im Rahmen der Upland Cafe Events am 1. und 2. November gab es Liveschaltungen zu den Events in Japan. Unter den Teilnehmern wurden 50 Kabosu Block Explorer als Giveaways vergeben. Das Event markiert den Start einer Kooperation mit Own the Doge.

Upland hat die Google Captcha-Abfrage durch das Cloudflare Turnstile Tool ersetzt. Diese geringfügige Änderung wurde von der Community positiv aufgenommen, da damit das häufig als lästig empfundene wiederholte Klicken zur Bestätigung, dass man kein Roboter ist, endlich entfallen ist.

Wanted: The ugliest Christmas sweater
- Tasteless and tacky Christmas sweaters, also known as Ugly Christmas sweaters, have been an integral part of the Christmas season for several years. There is even a dedicated Ugly Christmas Sweater Day - this is usually celebrated on the third Friday in December. The Ugliest Sweater Showdown in Upland is all about designing the most bizarre and terrible sweater as a wearable for avatars.

- The Stock Car Pro Series exclusive car sale for Memento and Memento Pass holders from Races 1 and 2 will take place this weekend. The process is the same as for previous sales (snapshot - registration - sale of limited passes - redemption of passes)

Advance Announcement of Chapter 4 Totem Reveal
- The totems of Chapter 4 will soon come into play: Goat and Python. As with previous totem sales, the first step is to purchase the mystery passes, which can then be exchanged for the totems.
- The further course of the adventure can be determined by voting. The community is asked whether Miles and Gaia should venture into the dungeon or whether they should climb up to the bridge.

Surprising City Expansion of London
- With extremely short notice - just a day in advance - Upland has carried out a further expansion of the British capital. A total of 18 neighborhoods of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea were added. Since the expansion was done in vanilla mode, the new collections won't be announced until next week. This offers enough time to get hold of unmined properties or to look around on the secondary market.

London Wearables Sale
- On the occasion of the current city expansion, there was a sale of specifically UK-trimmed wearables. The sale is already over. If you want these outfits, you have to look at the secondary market.

Mint Master Badges
- Upland has introduced four new badges that will be awarded to players during city releases and expansions. These badges reward the owners of the first three properties, the three players with the most properties minted, and the owners of the three largest and three smallest properties.

The Golden City Rush
- The so-called lost properties are properties at addresses in existing Upland cities that were initially not available for mining when the respective city was introduced. The Golden City Rush is specifically about the lost properties in San Francisco. In order to gain permission to mine one of these plots, a specially designed Block Explorer had to be purchased.

Brazil Immersive Fashion Week Experience & Giveaway
- Brazil Immersive Fashion Week (BRIFW) and Wired Conference are collaborating with Upland to deliver a new Web3 engagement experience. BRIFW was founded with the aim of providing brands, artists and independent professionals with a space to experiment with other formats of creation, production and presentation of collections, taking advantage of new immersive realities. The first such event took place on November 1st and 2nd.

Doge Day celebration in Upland
- Together with Own the Doge, Kabosu's birthday and Doge Day was celebrated in Upland. As part of the Upland Cafe events on November 1st and 2nd, there were live connections to the events in Japan. 50 Kabosu Block Explorers were given away as giveaways among the participants. The event marks the start of a collaboration with Own the Doge.

Upland's homepage, accessible at https://www.upland.me/, has had a facelift. The English language version is impressive. A landing page is currently provided for each of the alternative language versions currently available.
Upland has replaced the Google Captcha query with the Cloudflare Turnstile tool. This minor change was well received by the community as it finally eliminated the often annoying repeated clicking to confirm that you are not a robot.
In the latest Upland Player Podcast, X1TheGamer talks to Rockdrigo and it's primarily about the topic of neighborhood rating. The video is embedded below.
