Everyone who has been, or is still a student, has had moments when they were really proud. Such moments go on to be remembered by us for the rest our lives.
The first proud moment for most is the moment they gain admission. It's even better when you gain admission into your dream school to study your dream course. That joy that comes at that moment, that pride, It's something incredible. It is a moment when your family, friends and acquaintances also become proud. Some parents start to boast about such an achievement, deservedly so because it's not easy to have your child gain admission into a great school of choice to study their dream course.
Even though gaining admission is the start of untold stress and strain which most don't realize at first, it's still something worth being proud of and celebrating.
Another proud moment for people is when they pass a crucial or difficult exam. It could even be a professional exam. It's such a good, proud and relieving feeling when you check your result and find out that you passed that difficult course that has been giving you a lot of concern and worries. It's something worth celebrating.
I remember when I wrote a professional exam that would determine If I would go to the next level or not. It was the toughest exam I wrote in my life. I spent months preparing for it, tons of sleepless nights. It was the kind of exam that people failed a lot. While I waited for the exam result, I was restless, just like my mates that wrote it with me. When the result came out and I saw that I passed, I was super proud and joyful. I remember calling my dad and I could tell how proud he was. My mom also kept celebrating it for weeks.
Such moments with exams come more than once throughout our stay in school. They happen several times, and we just have to cherish each moment.
One more proud moment for students is graduation. Some might say this is the best. Beyond just pride, it gives the satisfaction of starting something big and finishing it.
Graduation is usually proof that you've conquered. We all agree that school is characterized with stress. After going through years of stress, financial strain, emotional and mental strain, hard work, hours studying, graduation is just the perfect crown to it all.
It's the moment when the world sees that you have seen it all, done it all and you have come out on top.
