What Makes FUNAAB Truly Unforgettable

I'm glad i still have lots of memories back then is school @FUNAAB. If you're a funabite then you will be able to relate with me. I had a wonderful experiences during my time then , I graduated 2016 back then. I might not be able to remember all the memories then , but i could still remember vividly that FUNAAB has its own special way of making you feel like you were in both university and a small village at the same time. Only funabites will understand better with what i said.

Why i said "You were in both university and small village" is because when it comes to learning, academic standard, Funaab is top notch, you as a student, before you can graduate from the school, you have to be serious, and dedicated with your studies, else you will end getting "Withdrawal U" that's on academic part. So to come out with a good result as a funabite, you have to be serious, read from time to time. Sometimes i asked myself back then that is this school government school or private school because their ways of running things is just like a private university.

But do you know the funniest part of this school is that, you can not escape farm practicals, whether you like it or not, you must do farming inside sun with hoe, cutlass and seedlings in your hand for planting. This is just Funaab culture and there's nothing anybody can do about this, it has always been like that for a long time and it's still like that uptil now, well you shouldn't be surprise ,aftall that's why the school is called University of Agriculture. So no how, no how, we must go to farm.

So it wasn't just about agriculture, it became part of our identity. That's when you will see students joking around themselves in the field, you'll see students sharing water bottles, doing competitive over who had the neatest ridges. It was really fun back then and those stressful days ended up being the memories we laugh about the most.

Apart from the farm life back then, there was also this spirit of Funaabites helping Funaabites, what i mean by that is student helping each other without thinking it twice in terms of needing help on academic studies, finance for who has it, and even food. All this things mentioned do happened back then when i was in school.

Today, when i flash back on those days, i realized that these little traditions shaped my experience. FUNAAB didn't just give me a degree, it gaves me stories, memories and community.
