First of all, I want to send my greetings to everyone in the community. I’m thrilled that we’re finally dropping our Hive school connect prompt it feels good to be part of something that’s just beginning and to be honest i was confused on what the first prompt will be all about but now i had an idea.

Now let me talk a bit about school life. Technically, I’m still in school, and to be honest, school life is fun and stressful. It’s fun sometimes, especially when you’re with your Gen Z friends, catching a cruise, and seeing people of your age with mad fashion sense everybody is dressing in their unique lifestyle vibe. You get to meet new people, explore new ideas, friends that could change your life either positive or negative depends on the kind of vibe you lean on and laugh your stress away once in a while.

But at the same time, it’s not easy. Exam periods are the worst. Waking up early just to beat traffic and make sure you don’t enter wahala with a lecturer is something else. And it’s even deeper when you have to think about your safety too especially in areas where cultism is real. You start watching who you talk to as not to get anybody angry, who you offend, and even how you walk. Some people just mess with you for no reason, and you cant reach jjst say you are sorry or if you react it’s either you leave school or try to blend in. But blending in can be a death sentence too. Last year, I saw someone get killed right at the front gate during graduation season. That moment made everything real for me. Exams had to be cancelled because of that incident. But we redo the exam eventually it was chaos everyone running up and down but thank God my corpse was not the one brought home.

But me, I try not to let the negative part steal all the joy. I still find time to attend school parties once in a while, yeah you see the school party is the part i like cause i enjoy more fun and even though I’m not that type. Just to ease stress and live small. Catch a cruise. Feel alive. You have to set your stress free you need it.

But exam days? Omo! That’s when your brain will scatter. You read and read until your head starts turning. No sleep for the wicked at all. And I don’t even go home during exams I’d rather sleep in school than risk getting stuck in traffic and missing the paper.

All in all, school life is mad. Fun, stressful, risky, sweet all packed together. But I’m pushing through. We go make am.
