As a newbie, it can be so frustrating I must say.
There are some communities I can't publish because they need people with higher reputation.
And also, my content has been muted in one of the communities.
So what I now do is to publish my content in a newbie friendly community and keep going.

And about being muted, maybe you've violated one of their rules.
