Life is really unpredictable and that's quite sad.
I'm gobsmacked at how a vibrant man living in my community suddenly became vegetable. I saw him two days back, very agile and fit cleaning his compound with his grandson and today he's down with a stroke.
I can barely imagine what will be going on in his mind right now.
Life is not just fickle, but it's very uncertain. In all of these, one thing I've learned is that, life is meant to be lived through and through!
No wonder an adage says, whatever one's hand find to do, do with all your might because tomorrow is really not guaranteed.
I've seen people leaving what they can do today until another time and they end up not doing it. Not because they didn't want to, but because life happened suddenly.
Life is indeed short, so make sure to enjoy every bit of it. Smile while you still have teeth, feel , love effortlessly, and most importantly never forget to let people know how much they mean to you.
You might wake up one day to realize they are no longer in existence. The regret will be knowing you didn't do your best while you could.
I just hope his children and grandchildren will show him so much love and not make him feel like he's not a burden to them.
Even little act of kindness goes a long way, never fail to show kindness to anyone you meet, because you might never know if that's the only tiny thread they are hanging onto!
Lastly, stop over thinking what you have little or no control over. Worrying does more harm than good. Learn to go with the flow and tide of life. All will be well.
