The bitter taste of waiting. El amargo sabor de la espera☕. [ENG-ESP].

This is the moment for "Mandatory pauses." It is incredible how the steam from a hot cup becomes a refuge when we receive difficult news. Today I bring few words. After receiving bad news about a family member—information we are still processing at home—I ended up accepting a cup of strong and bitter coffee that I don't like. It couldn't possibly be more bitter than having a loved one in the operating room and being unable to do anything. Or well! Praying with all our strength to the God of the impossible.
Sometimes life corners us in spaces where control dissolves completely and all we have left is to wait, watch the clock hands tick by slowly, and hold tightly onto faith.
Today words weigh too much to try to dress them up. There is nothing left to do but wait for news from a cold hospital hallway, with the echo of prayers resounding in our minds and the warmth of this cup in our hands reminding us that we are still here, breathing and holding each other up as a family.

Este es el momento de "Pausas obligatorias". Es increíble como el vapor de una taza caliente se convierte en refugio cuando recibimos noticias difíciles. Hoy traigo pocas palabras. Después de recibir malas noticias sobre un familiar, información que aún estamos procesando en casa, terminé aceptando una taza del café fuerte y amargo que no me gusta. No ha de ser más amargo que el hecho de tener a un ser querido en quirófano y no poder hacer nada. O bueno! Pedir con todas las fuerzas al Dios de lo imposible.
A veces la vida nos arrincona en espacios donde el control se disuelve por completo y solo nos queda esperar, mirar las manecillas del reloj avanzar con lentitud y aferrarnos a la fe.
Hoy las palabras pesan demasiado como para intentar adornarlas. Solo queda esperar noticias desde un frío pasillo de hospital, con el eco de las oraciones resonando en la mente y el calor de esta taza entre las manos recordándonos que aún estamos aquí, respirando y sosteniéndonos en familia.

P.D: al final tuve que usar leche o no me logro tomar este café🤦🏻‍♂️.
