Did you have a fun Valentine's Day on Friday...
We had a cracking time filled with meals out drinking and painting and seemed to last a weekend not just one day! We even went clambering over a castle on Saturday!
Can you guess which one from the picture below?
The seventh weekend of 2025 is here and with it the seventh weekly report of my Saturday Savers Club participation for 2025.
I am publishing this in our Silver Bloggers community as we do have an interest in crypto and passive income streams for our retirement!
This sort of shows Saturday's weather, it was wet and wild at times!
Being on the coast it made for some views ...
Imagine that as your bedroom window view.
I did save entrance fee as the castle is under the jurisdiction of Historic Environment Scotland and we have an annual membership.
This year is all about Just Doing It for me...
Which brings me nicely into my Saturday Savers Club goals and progress for 2025.
If you fancy joining in with the Saturday Savers club and the fun way to save ... then ... First up read this post Saturday Savers Club | Year 5: 2025 Launch and FAQs | 500 HP Prize Draw! | Everyone Welcome..
I shall be Using the Penny a Day Savings Challenge
Well saving HBD our stablecoin Hive Backed Dollars earns 15% APR interest... that is some fluffing good passive income!
Now then I did say I was doing my version of the penny savings challenge.
Previous years showed me the way to hit your HBD saving goal was to save hard at the beginning!
Tengo's Special version makes use of the make hay while the sun shines philosophy...
As you can see from my account screenshot I really am flying along with 125.398 HBD in my savings pot ...
As you can see from the table I am at 18.87% complete. The target completion based on a pure date driven scale is 12.60%.
Whether or not I meet this target will depend on the price of Bitcoin.
I decided to buy 3 USDT worth of Bitcoin each and every day...
I have an auto-invest order on Binance...
The amount of Bitcoin I have now is ... 0.00133403 and we have comfortably crossed over the 100k Sat mark
Which is 0.00024652 more than last week!
At 12.17% we are slightly below the projected target value of 12.60%. This due to the fact that BTC has been trading higher and not getting as much of it for our $3 as at the beginning when the goal was made!
Although last week with the dip in BTC price we picked up more sats than we have been previously.
It is fun to collect things .... Now it is $HBD and $BTC..
There we have it, it should be an interesting year!
There are 52 weeks of course in a year, so I do have plenty of time to decide how my numbers and reports will look, However for the meantime I am still quite liking this.
It was a 8.5/10 week. With steady progress being made, only BTC and EDSI are behind schedule, but not much.
Only thing to improve is to aim for one post per day this week!
Thank you to @raj808 for the Saturday Savers Club banner.

That is brilliant, thank you and have a terrific new week
Have a nice week too @tengolotodo
That is a pretty cool old castle! I spent valentines day at a basketball game and then going out to dinner with my inlaws. It was nice!
Yeah was destroyed by a siege in the 1500s. The religious wars wrecked so many awesome castles and lives. Going out for dinner is always good!
Your experience is interesting.
Thank you very much for sharing so many details that are still unknown to me and I need to learn.
Greetings!
Thank you and you are welcome, just let me know if you need any help
The details really help a lot to give some idea, as I' am new and just 3 days ago I started putting my hbd to saving and this post of you highlight all the details how it works.
That is great to hear @anlizapasaje1234 let me know if you need any assistance
That view looks great! Here we also have destroyed castles and near the sea. In fact, in one of them, which is relatively in the center of the city, you can find pieces of sea corals inside. Which according to experts is proof that the sea used to come to him. I need an urgent class on how to manage money and how to collect BTC. A big hug, my friend
Oh I want to see pictures of them now Nancy!
You know where I am.. A big hug and I hope you have a terrific Tuesday!
that is a pretty ruin, I wonder what it looked like when it was in its glory. we have a lot of old temples or castle here during the kingdom era, but because they usually use organic material, nothing much can be saved from it.
Love to see your progress towards the BTC savings. I wish I didn't sell mine a few years back. !LOLZ

But I've lived here for last 216 years, and haven't heard anything unusual.

Wow,. your still doing great in Saturday savers!
Ah, that castle ruins was beautiful! Wish I could visit at least something like that in future
Thank you for sharing this now I have more goal to keep posting to stake my HBD into savings. My Hiver friends started to add thier HBD into savings your most will make them more interisted in saving HBD.
It is a good habit to get into. Now more and more shops are being used to accept HBD so that is another good thing. But saving is great!
I also enjoy exploring ruins. I feel like there's an air of sadness and curiosity to it. One can only imagine the vibrant history behind the crumbling facade and interesting chain of events that led to its disintegration. Thank you also for sharing your Saving Goals! I still have a lot to learn from this.
