Memoir Monday #36 - Have you ever had recurring dreams? If so, describe them.

Greetings my dear Hiveans!!! I know their is nothing, much in a dream. But when it's recurring I become a bit conscious and scared.. Long back, I heard ancestors say, that they came across dreams which sometimes took place in their life, in the later part of the year. Even I too come across dreams, but nothing came to existence.

I usually have the habit of taking a nap jn the afternoon. But unfortunately, sometimes this turns out to be a dèep sleep, which inturn ruins my night sleep, and ultimately keeps me awake the whole night. My grandparents usually, advice us not to sleep, in this so called odd hours, which meant in the afternoon hours. The logic behind this, still remains as a question mark to me.

We usually believe in the ancestral say. Let it be hallucination, but some has definitely proved to be true to its words.

As mentioned in the earlier part, I usually have the habit of taking a nap in the afternoon. But I really wish it shouldn't become a nightmare.

It so happened, for two consecutive days, I saw the same dream. I was travelling in a bus and the bus was going through a narrow lane. Later, it took a turn where two roads met. As soon as it turned, I jumped from my seat, to say the bus conductor to stop. And I pointed them to a building where I stayed. It was on the other lane. The bus conductor being a gentleman halted immediately and asked me to get down.

Happily, I got down thanking him and went to the building. Once I reached the door steps, I rang the bell and a collegue of mine, who worked along with me in school, opened the door. In my dream three to four of us stayed in the room. But only one face appeared in my mind and not the other two.

This same dream of getting into bus, going by a narrow lane, going to the building occured two times. What should be the logic 🤔 behind this, is still a question mark. Hope it doesn't recurr again.
