RE: Bloody knuckles and foreign accents a first day at school for wee Edward SBC32

Hahahahahah.... Sorry, I have to laugh at your storytelling, but I know it wasn't funny when you were a kid, getting those slaps on your knuckles! πŸ˜ƒ I remember the stories that my dad was telling me about him getting slaps from his teacher... But, tbh, he probably deserved them... 🀣

In my time, I remember only a couple of incidents where my ENGLISH teacher was chasing my friend with a ruler all over the classroom, or trying to hit him with a chalk from a distance... πŸ˜‚

And it's amazing how your schoolmates didn't understand you, and you were speaking the same language... On the other side, having some experience with Scottish peeps here in Spain, I wouldn't understand them probably! πŸ˜‚

Thanks for sharing the story! As I said in some other comment, I love this prompt!

Hehe we have to laugh, but my father would say worse things, and of course some of the teachers I had he had as well. Good times though, and certainly made us much more disciplined and get on with life and not whinge and complain like what happens now lol!
Oh yes the chalk, we had a Maths teacher who would throw chalk and if that didn't work you got the wooden chalkboard duster thrown at you 🀣

Thanks Zoltan, yeah @asiaymalay excelled herself this week, I shall have to think hard in a couple of weeks to get anything that comes close to being so entertaining for a prompt!
