I think there should be a change in system for voting right where a person should atleast be 10th pass to caste a vote..just a thought..cheers
Until 1989 it was 21 years as the age of voting rights, in 61st amendment of 1989 it was revised to 18 years as the legal age of voting rights.
10th pass means barely 15 years old, I personally think not a matured age to descern right/wrong.

@milaan my main point was a person being literate as to caste a vote..so that they know what could be the consequences of choosing a wrong party.
