So glad to see you here Eli, but I fully understand just how the situation in your country has a negative impact on your life.
That familiar view is so beautiful, it must be sad to leave it behind, even if it's only temporarily.
Thinking of you, while you prepare for the temporary move, and still having to deal with the turmoil happening in your country.

So it is Lizzie, these are hard times for those of us who live here or have loved ones in Venezuela. Leaving is not easy and staying is not easy either. We will see what the future holds.

It's just awful that politicians can destroy a country without any regard for the well-being of the people, all in the name of power and money!
We've seen a mass exodus of skilled younger people from SA, very sad to leave family and friends behind; some flourish when they leave, but still long for 'home' while others simply cannot adapt, It's a very difficult situation!
I'm keeping well, and adjusting to this new life. Not easy though!
