Hello, Silver Bloggers!

The last few months have been a bit turbulent, especially for our dear Silver Flower and Silver Blonde Lizzie, and we've had a bit of a break from our usual Smorgasbord. But we're back now, and it's time to showcase another bunch of posts from our Silver Bloggers - it's that time when we share some of your gems.

But first, let me tell you how we selected the posts.

Selection criteria

All the posts are chosen from posts in the community, and from accounts that have subscribed to the Silver Bloggers' community. Also, the topic must fit in with our general themes as set out on our community page -

a keenness to learn more about blockchain and crypto
life experiences
musings and memories of lives lived
planning for (and doing) life beyond formal work

Posts that are a response to #BOM and #SilverPrompts are not considered.

If you missed some of those awesome posts, we encourage you to go back and read them. If you would still like to support the authors, even though some are past their payout dates: don't waste your vote, leave a tip, something Mother will be doing as a token of appreciation. Not only did they show up, they showed up in force and were up and down our road for several weeks. I had an ulterior motive for wanting the trees removed. Not only were the trees threatening the power lines they were also threatening my garage, fence, and vehicles.

Trip planning and easing our way into an early retirement...

Step 1, before he gives us the well paying day job--and as he continues to build his Hive portfolio, of course--is to do some shorter, fun trips.
Over the next six months we're planning to go to Singapore, Chiang Mai (Thailand), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and Kuta/Seminyak (Bali, Indonesia) in one 17 day loop.

I just found out about this place a couple months ago and have been meaning to got out there for a little look see. The The Riley Ranch Nature Reserve is 184 acres of protected land along the Deschutes River near Bend Oregon. Join me as I share some photographs on my walk of the upper portion of the reserve.

My thoughts exactly, but oh boy, they are a mess, haha! Pardon this shot but I am rather ashamed to show how sad my cooking is🤣 I'd be damn sure the husband will poke fun of me when he finds them. Oh well, I'm quite used to it so it's okay. But it's not ideal to show them to the world people of Hive, lol!

Remembering the innocence of my childhood

I cannot be a child again, and I truly feel grateful to God for all the stages I have lived and the one I am living, we all carry that inner child and we should never allow that child to die inside us, not that spoiled child, but to live purity, friendship, simplicity, being a friend, smiling without fear or trepidation, being happy to the fullest.
