Hello, Silver Bloggers!
Here we are again to showcase another bunch of posts from our Silver Bloggers - it's that time when we share some of your gems.
We would like to do our Smorgasbord on a regular basis, perhaps a weekly edition. We appreciate your posts in the community so as long as we have posts from our Silver Bloggers we will try to highlight some of them.
But first, let me tell you how we selected the posts.
All the posts are chosen from posts in the community, and from accounts that have subscribed to the Silver Bloggers' community. Also, the topic must fit in with our general themes as set out on our community page -
Posts that are a response to #BOM and #SilverPrompts are not considered.
So please note that this week's Memoir Monday posts that answer the question What makes you sad? are excluded. As they are in consideration for our Writing Contest this week. If you haven't entered yet, you still have the weekend to do so.
If you missed some of those awesome posts, we encourage you to go back and read them. If you would still like to support the authors, even though some are past their payout dates: don't waste your vote, leave a tip. (The web versions of @peakd and @ecency offer this facility.)

I'm pretty sure she loved me, but I have no recollection of hugging her or endearing moments between mother and daughter, like in the movies. I don't remember conversations.
I remember her saying things to me, here and there.

After the party, we cleaned up and brought back the decorations that we had arranged. The cleaner in the condo helps us to keep the chairs and tables. I never thought watching and participating in this kind of party could be really fun. At first, I was hesitant to come because I was shy. Lucky ma'am convinced me to come and join them. It was indeed fun.
One of the things I like to remember are those moments of walks, because she liked to go out, walk and enjoy natural places, she liked the beach, a park, the mountains. In fact, for many years we enjoyed a small house that she bought in the middle of the mountain and twenty minutes from the beach, there we spent vacations and weekends when we were teenagers and then when we were mothers with our children.

Well, my thoughts just went blank and lost my train of thought to were I was going with this post. Sorry to disappoint, but you may have wasted all your time reading this far. I could take a break on go look for the left arm of Foxy the Snowman (see image).

My Pile of Ambiguities had gradually decreased each year until now there is one item sitting in it: a beautifully soft alpaca vest. I wasn't quite sure about the finish on the neck and armholes, but I've decided to start wearing it and see what happens.
So, here’s to weathering the winter blahs, stepping away from needless worries, and looking forward to the beauty and possibilities ahead. Turning 50 may be weighing on me now, but I’m sure it’ll just be another chapter in this ever-evolving story.
Cheers to growth in orchids, in life, and in finding light even on the darkest of these winter days.
The #bom and #silverprompts are meant to encourage and inspire. So remember that you can write about any of the topics that have already passed if you have writer's block.
We always look forward to reading your posts. And we manually select and recommend good content to be supported by OCD.
