Hello, Silver Bloggers!

What's your favorite colour and how do you integrate it in your daily life?
by @nancybriti1 Silver Flea
It would be very easy for me, who has lived all my life in a city surrounded by the sea, to say that my favorite color is blue, with all its shades, from the emerald blue that colors the Caribbean Sea to the indigo blue with which the inland sea is painted. I would argue that blue has always been a horizon, a sky and even the beginning of a poem I learned as a child (Blue of that distant summit over which my thoughts fly). But no, my favorite color is yellow, the one we find in the sun, in the earth, in gold, in sunflowers, in the golden spike.

My favorite color from childhood is Sky blue, and I feel its very cool and peaceful. Back then, we would run to see any aeroplane crossing our paths, and stare at the sky till it disappears, and since then I am in love with the color of the sky.
I have always said that I am monochromatic. When it comes to dressing, decorating my home, and so many other things, I like neutral colors, those that fill me with calm. That is why my favorite colors and the ones I use the most are white, beige, blue, and black.

If you ask for my favourite colour, I'll mostly say green - forest green, kale green. A dep, rich, nature green - fern fronds and gum leaves. It's THE colour of nature, and I love wearing it in winter, where I spend a lot of time in the forest. My best friend just knitted me a deep green scarf, thick and luscious.

I wouldn't be surprised if there is a consensus or debate for taste between blue or green; for being the most predominant colors in nature. At least, here, in the warm and pleasant tropic of Cancer where I live. Bordered by the beautiful Caribbean Sea.

Since I have been living in Maracay I have also learned to love the greens. I have had the good fortune to live for many years in a mountainous area, my house is surrounded by trees. Every afternoon I sit on my porch and I can distinguish the great amount of greens that each tree has, each small bush, each bush in its vase. Looking at those greens also fills me with peace and tranquility.
