Hello, Silver Bloggers!

Here we are again to showcase another bunch of posts from our Silver Bloggers - it's that time when we share some of your gems.

We appreciate your posts in the community, so as long as we have posts from our Silver Bloggers, we will try to highlight some of them.

But first, let me tell you how we selected the posts.

Selection criteria

All the posts are chosen from posts in the community, and from accounts that have subscribed to the Silver Bloggers' community. Also, the topic must fit in with our general themes as set out on our community page -

a keenness to learn more about blockchain and crypto
life experiences
musings and memories of lives lived
planning for (and doing) life beyond formal work

Posts that are a response to #BOM and #SilverPrompts or any contest in the community are not considered.

Visited Palawan beach, nope not in the Philippines but in Singapore.

Today, we've decided to go to one of the beaches around Sentosa. It's a Palawan beach resort. The name sounds familiar😌 like the famous beach resort in my country. I've been there before, and it's my second time exploring this place. I was not into blogging before. That's why I didn't bother to snap any photos. Now, it's a different story. 😬

My Interaction With Wildlife - A Short Story With Pictures

When I stepped out on my deck to enjoy a little fresh air and sunshine a couple days ago I noticed one of the local deer across the street staring me down. While it is not unusual to have the deer in our compound of about 100 one acre lots be somewhat curious about us humans, this seemed to be a little different. As it kept watching me it began to move closer to the little fenced area I was sitting in. I quickly decided to go in and grab my camera and see if I could get a few shots of the unfolding event.

Wanting to be useful

María is a great example for everyone in my community, especially for the younger people. She is one of those people who do not let themselves be defeated by the problems that age brings to our bodies. Her desire to continue being useful is stronger than any ailment; for her, the important thing is to stay active.

A nice LiDL Surprise!

I was passing LiDL's on Saturday on my way back from the dry cleaners and, given Tania's enthusiasm, I thought I would pop in and see what all the fuss was about. I have shopped at LiDL and Aldi once or twice in the past, just to see what they were like. They never been quite convenient for me, although midday on Saturday there was plenty of room to park and the store was busy but not packed.

This generation of those born between 1960 and 1980 interprets age from a different psycho-social position; Not with pity or discouragement, not with fears or irresponsibility but with vitality and joy.
The sexescents refuse to die early; Life is beautiful. We have a lot to celebrate; We are alive, socially active in all the spheres of life.

Personally, I admit that I like to be informed, but there are days when I prefer not to know anything, to disconnect from the world, to live in my own cloud. I feel that the more I know about things, the more I worry, the more I think, the more unhappy I feel. Knowledge entails responsibilities and one has enough responsibilities in life without knowing things that were better not to know...
