Hello, Silver Bloggers!
Here we are again to showcase another bunch of posts from our Silver Bloggers - it's that time when we share some of your gems.
We appreciate your posts in the community, so as long as we have posts from our Silver Bloggers, we will try to highlight some of them.
But first, let me tell you how we selected the posts.
All the posts are chosen from posts in the community, and from accounts that have subscribed to the Silver Bloggers' community. Also, the topic must fit in with our general themes as set out on our community page -
Posts that are a response to #BOM and #SilverPrompts or any contest in the community are not considered.
If you missed some of those awesome posts, we encourage you to go back and read them. If you would still like to support the authors, even though some are past their payout dates: don't waste your vote, leave a tip. (The web versions of @peakd and @ecency offer this facility.)

Every second was pleasant enough so that when we left, we were all grateful for the meeting and prayed for new and early celebrations. Because that's how we from this side of the world are: effusive, boisterous, sweet and with the conviction that there is a lot of good.

I can't leave out the Squirrels, can I? I have a lot of them along with plenty of Chipmunks too. Here are three young ones playing together at the edge of the property. They are too funny the way they chase up and down the trees and run across the lawn so fast to keep out of Mika's reach.
This is her favorite position on the porch, sitting, waiting for a chance to chase them out of the yard. It makes her day to be the lawn patrol. ♥

One of the things I always enjoyed was witnessing the small and large achievements my children made in their disciplines, when they learned to swim in the pool, when they played their first notes on their instruments, when they practiced the steps of the Katas in Karate. Accompanying them in that process seemed very stimulating to me.

Growing older, I increasingly tend to look at people in terms of the story they tell. It’s only natural since people my generation have pretty much written their story. The final chapters still missing can easily be figured out. They say you can change and rewrite your story at any point. It’s never too late. I doubt that. Those who manage to do that are the exception rather than the rule.
The task of reconstructing family history can become a tireless and unfinished search, because between one generation and another, between those who live it from near and those who live it from far away, between those who only hear the story and those who were there, there is a world of interpretation tinged with truths, lies, realities, secrets, fantasies, illusions, in other words, a world full of life.

When I told the story to my granddaughter, the look on her face was interesting. We didn't have access to the knowledge she does today? And parenting had come a long way in terms of communication.
I didn't want to instill fear; only caution to wait and see before accepting any offer to be more than friends. Even with the "friend" title, expectations can be veiled.
I hope that she listened and considered my life experience story.
The #bom and #silverprompts are meant to encourage and inspire. So remember that you can write about any of the topics that have already passed if you have writer's block.
We always look forward to reading your posts. And we manually select and recommend good content to be supported by OCD.
