Growing up my parents used to do very little on Sunday. They still don't today, though occasionally I can get them to go out to lunch or something like that. Shopping or working is avoided as much as possible.

Oh really that is interesting to know. My grandfather would not even play golf on a Sunday, just get grandma to make a big Sunday lunch!
Haha, that sounds about right. A lot of those families back in the day they would do all the prep work and cooking on Saturday so they didn't have to work on Sunday. It's a whole thing about the ten commandments and remembering the Sabbath and keeping it holy. Except I think for Jewish people the Sabbath is Saturday.
