Just an ID... when these things are unique they can become "exploitable" because one can search for those and find links to things.
Just a privacy, security stance, to avoid future shenanigans...
It's like, if you tell everyone where you live, your birthday date, how tall you are, etc, etc, then when that information becomes public knowledge and does not change, then ANYOne can use it for whatever purpose.
For example, imagine that you have a neighbour who does not like you, and knows all the info above. He can then start posting things online about you, or even worse, make others think he is you.
Sorry if all this sounds like "tooo much". But unfortunately, it's something I have to worry for myself even (but especially for my kids).
