I have written something similar to this, still about parenting. Will share it later today.
Parenting is a huge emotional responsibility, not just a biological achievement or title.
Children can be corrected without being made to feel unsafe or unloved, and the part about the mother refusing to comfort the child after inflicting pain on him is heartbreaking. Discipline should teach, not simply punish.

Oh, I would definitely love to read. I find it comforting when I meet other people who share my views, especially when it comes to sensitive topics. It makes all the difference for me in a world where people have opposing views that reeks of inconsideration and ignorance.
I wish these parents understood what you’ve just said. I truly wish.
