Just in case you don't know how to play the 'curation game' here on the tribes - the general gist is to max out yer daily Vote allowance which is 10 times a full 100% upvote, or lower % equivalent (so 20 times 50%).
From a distribution perspective I think a larger amount of smaller votes is better, even if it takes a little longer scanning the created feeds.
So I've been aiming for more smaller votes and also dropping in the odd comment (and the occassional post such as this) and to my surprise the 50 HP I'd loaded this alt up with is struggling with the load:
That was from a few days back, my RCs took a hit.
NB that's only from 15-25 votes and around 4-5 comments a day, it's amazing how quickly one burns through resource credits with only 54 HP.
Thankfully I've been able to 'sort myself out' with a larger HP delegation from my main to tied me over until I can power up a little more on this account from the Hive earnings.
I think a total of 70 HP should be sufficient to allow for a suitable recharge peiord.
But it's interesting from the perspective of someone who both rents and posts on one account with low HP - if you do both regularly then I guess 50 HP is going to see you struggling with RCs, and if that's the case then there's only one solution - power up more Hive.
Generally 100 HP is enough for you to be able to do everything you want!
On a related note, it will take less than one month to burn through Resource Credits associated with having 250HP is you average over 50 comments a day every day. With shorter comments, the daily number should be higher. If the comments are more like mini-posts, then the daily number should be lower. Many 100-comment days within 30 days can also deplete thr RCs that 250 HP nomally provides.
I found this out the hard way in September 2021.

Yowser, that's a lot of commenting, I would have thought it's quite easy to get by with less?
And even so, with 250HP I day of recharge time should give you enough to make many more comments.
I think the reason for making a blanket cost for all comments is to stop bot spam.
I was taking part in a contest which lasted the entire month, so I commented as much as I could. Normally I have a hard time reaching 25 comments a day.
It's true that the daily recharge restores Recource Credits, but I was commenting at a pace which exceeded the recharge pace.
Under normal circumstances, 250 HP would be more than enough for most people's daily needs. For 30 days, my circumstances were not normal, so I took it to the limit. By the end of the month my Resource Credit allotment was down to 1.68%. It's not easy to burn through 250 HP to drop that low, but I did it.
That situation was extreme, so it won't happen to most people. Still, it's something to keep in mind.
