True, a percentage would make more sense. And yea, considering the current starbits price, 30 Hive is a big investment.

So I ended up breaking into some of my liquidity pools and bought 8 10XP cards. I'm at 969 experience per 1hr mission right now. It was very expensive but it will help me level up faster to gain more rewards at higher levels then get me to sell them back to buy cards when I get there.
