Over time, I think I have developed quite a lot of ways to destress.
The common ones would be talking to a friend, but if no one is available, there's exercising, gym (like you mentioned), listening to happy/upbeat music. I guess a weird one is to get buy a matcha latte, which is one of my favourite food. Then again, I think desserts is quite a common one too.
Another "weird" one I could think of, is to talk to AI like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude. I recall there was once I was stressed about something and I decided to ask AI whether they could think of any good ideas to resolve my issue, and it was quite useful.
For some reason, I still haven't tried a matcha latte yet, but I like this way of "de-stressing"... Sweets and hot drinks! It could work! 😃
And the AI idea is also a good one... I noticed that I'm using AI much more often than before... Not just for techie questions, but also for health issues, or when I want to make a decision, to research... and maybe I should try it for de-stress too!
