Cool fact about Jefferson being on the opposite side of Washington. I grew up in South Dakota and didn't know that. A cool coin to mark 100 years since the project started.
Yes the crazy horse monument would truly be a spectacle if ever finished. I seen both nearly two years ago. The good thing is you can see both of them from a distance without having to pay. Crazy Horse a little more difficult as there is only one road that I know of where you can see it.
I didn't either until I saw the picture, it wasn't as easy as they had planned out! I just found it bizarre that it came from Barbados... The Crazy Horse Monument would be phenomenal if they ever manage to finish it off, but it may be long after our lifetimes at the rate they are going!
I don't remember how much you had to pay for Mount Rushmore, it's been so long, but nice to know you can see them without paying as well!
I think its $20 to get in for Mount Rushmore. Not sure about Crazy Horse but I know they have a good Native American Museum there. I didn't have time to check it out the last I visited. Yes the coin coming out of the U.S. is puzzling. You would think there would be one here.
